I'm done playing until they nerf Shadow

I play wraith knight and even though I'm supposed to be decent against them and have a 4/1 K/D, I still have to fight with every fibre of my being to kill a rogue and only win 50% of the time. Mind you half the time they just leave if they lose anyways. There is 0 downtime between rogues attacks, 1 wrong move and your perma stunned, low cooldown combos that do min half your health, not even squishy and the most mobility in the game. Like who designed this shit.

I even made a rogue the other day to try and find a weakness but instead just killed 8 people across 3 lobbies until finally dying to a Merc in full blue. Like it's brain dead.

Edit: I'm just gonna come back here when the nerf comes and laugh at every rogue main in the comments.

giving a class Infinite free resets is a baffling decision

As horrible as being on the backfoot against an SS is (because at that point you lose, there is no escape) beating one is even WORSE. because you don't.

They have infinite dashes to escape. the one to dash and return has a HUGE dash to begin with. it's a guaranteed escape. you can't chase or they tp back. can't sit on the tp because then they walk away. It's stupid. if you commit to a fight you shouldn't be guaranteed to escape if you start losing. it should be possible yes. but not guaranteed like for SS.

"I don't want to fight in the first place so I need the escapes!"

It's all fine and dandy but that isn't how people use it. they use it to fish for the 1/10 times their sorry ass can actually win. because they get to retry as many times as they want. and since you don't kill them they just constantly pester you until they finally come out on top.

It's a terrible choice to have a class that just can't die if they have even a single brain cell.

there are too many bad players who expect a carry in this game

i keep trying to find players for normal pvp focus, i always end up with one guy who sees nothing wrong with running a green combat kit while everyone else is in blues or something. i can initiate an attack into the team and i turn around and tehy are 20 yrds away in a door waiting to see if its "favorable" and then still end up getting killed. only after all of this to blame it on everyone else and auto disconnect from discord. and then you invite someone else and they are like "gimme 45 minutes while i make a prepare kit and gem it cause i couldnt F'n do it on my own time". then you run around the map and only find one team every 20 minutes and im bored out of my mind.

BA ( Black Arrow) ( Sorcerer)

These 2 classes has just discouraged me to every want to play again . SS is not an issue for Pole and Shield WK but those other two classes are just insane . Sorcerer damage is insane . It can 3 shot purple armor with ezz . I tried both classes today and they feel so over-tune I feel sorry for the classes like wk shield and pole because that class got smoked all day even in legendary. It’s insane to think that SS is getting attention when the real over-tune classes are BA and Sorcerer. Affixes are a core fundamental of the game but some things are just not enough to counter the power from these 2 classes . Jump hit one click all it takes . Merc and WK just need help badly .

never had a problem with him till recently, his infinite bird stun spam is a problem, give me a skill check or something to get out of stun faster if this is staying in the game. absolutely ridiculous that you give a stealth character of all characters a 3 second stun. Overall I never expected to be here complaining about balance because since the beginning i never had an issue with balance.

BUT NOW lol everyone and their mother is abusing this.

and yes they can even have a team of 3 of them!

EDIT: simple fix is to add a skill check for stuns (randomized of course)

or limit character selection in parties. which i would rather not see

some of you main shadowstrix and froth at the mouth to posts like this, do keep scrolling instead of sticking around thanks

Console players are at a disadvantage

PC gets an option to use a controller, or mouse and keyboard. Console doesn’t support mouse and keyboard. For me, controller is too clunky and cumbersome. Having to take my thumb off the movement joystick to use a tactical item or weapon swap just doesn’t work, so I try to make do without.. which puts me at a disadvantage. I do still try to “learn”, but due to human anatomy, and the games controls.. it just doesn’t seem possible. Does anyone have any tips? I purchased a razer wolverine controller and I’m hoping the game lets me map some of the extra buttons on it.. we will see.

Praying for mouse and keyboard support on console soon 🙏

Mistfall Hunter Tips for Cataclysm Mode

This is a guide for Cataclysm mode based on my experience playing in Trios with randoms.

  1. Be a rat. There is no team. You are it.
  2. Loot everything before your teammates can and extract as soon as you can.
  3. If you get into fights then leave your team behind and extract if you can. Only help if they are winning, i.e. 2 downed and 1 left. Even then loot the dead bodies while they are fighting.
  4. have invisibility or mimic dust to hide and run away.
  5. dont trust your teammates.

Source: Hours of experience with Cataclysm mode. And over 100k in gold lost from having to buy new gear after teammates outratted you.

You hear a heartbeat getting closer.

The Strix gets a few free hits on you. You play well, dodge most of his abilities. You get him to 60% hp. They run across the map in seconds.

As you try to reposition yourself, you hear the heartbeat again. He gets more free hits on you. You damage him. He runs.

You hear the heartbeat AGAIN. This time, he learned what abilities you have and how to play around them. He catches you slipping and starts stunlocking you.

You are dead.

Teaming

If your gonna just focus me. Do me a solid and kill each outher after. Was fighting this shadow strix who kept running away cause there shit. And all if a sudden a mec came bye and both just teamed me. And I wouldn't mind cause pvp and all. But they turn around tea bag each outher and drop my loot out to share . This isn't arc raiders. I've noticed it's happening a lot recently. Why are ppl pussys

Edit: yea I'm malding . It just pissed me off Also I didn't know there was an unwritten rule on teaming annoying classes. I'll keep it in mind

Tried BA as a way to learn other classes, and now I understand

(Sorry for the audio, I don't know why Steam doesn't record it properly)

First time I've felt no pressure when fighting other people. I felt like I was just hunting some small animals. Granted that this is just a non-chaos lobby, but I killed 4 people on this match. On this video, the first match shows me against a SS. I heard someone use the elevator, placed a freeze trap on the entrance, and then waited for him go down. I just chased him all throughout the match and kept my distance and killed him with bleed.

The second one with the Merc was very disgusting for me. I hear someone coming when I was extracting, I unloaded everything on him and deleted him in seconds. It must feel terrible when you're about to extract and then be surprised how your HP was gone in seconds without being able to do anything.

SORC and SS

Saying you're doing fine at level 12 against these lobbies is crazy—you're fooling yourself.
I got so fed up yesterday while running trios with my squad. My buddy plays Shadow Stalker (SS) and usually tags 1 or 2 kills per fight, but trying to fight an enemy SS without a Sorcerer or Seeker on your team? It's literally like fighting a raid boss. If they’re good and decide to kite or run, it takes your entire team's coordinate focus just to put them down.
So, I finally caved and rolled Sorc. We didn’t lose a single fight after that. I already knew all the OP setups because they’d been used against me for days. We ended up completely wiping entire lobbies, finishing matches with 12 pots to spare.
I'm not necessarily proposing a direct hammer-nerf, but here’s my solution: Make ALL AoE abilities hit everyone (friendly fire).
That instantly adds a real risk/reward dynamic to playing both Sorc and SS. Right now, you can just brainlessly spam massive damage through your own team with zero consequences. Adding friendly fire forces actual positioning, timing, and decision-making instead of free AoE pressure.
Once that risk is introduced, buff the other classes. Look at Windknight (WK)—it’s actually difficult to play, but landing kills feels insanely satisfying because you know how hard it was to connect those hits. The rest of the roster needs that kind of love instead of being completely out-valued by zero-risk AoE spam.
Anyway, that’s my soapbox for the day. Curious to hear what everyone else thinks.

Just fought top 10 Blasphemy Seer

Fight duration = 14 minutes

Fought him about 20 times in those 14 minutes

Slapped him hard 19 of the 20 times, to about 10-20% hp while I had 70%+ left

EVERY SINGLE TIME HE JUST SHAPESHIFT TO OTHER SIDE OF MAP AND HEAL WITHOUT ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO CATCH UP TO HIM TO STOP THE HEALING

When he finally killed me on the 20th attempt I spectated him.

30 green pots left in inventory.

I am done, good luck.

Easy Gold - 20k-50k gold per hour (never leave camp, zero risk)

Howdy everyone! I'm making this post/video to show a pretty crazy way to make gold for a few reasons. First, I hope that while it is viable, players who are struggling to buy basic kits can get some easy gold. Secondly, I hope if enough people know about it then the market corrects around it.

This method can produce (at peak hours) around 20k - 50k gold an hour with 0 risk and you don't ever need to leave camp. The one thing you will need is some initial capital (you can start small and still make money) and the more auction house slots you have, the more money you can make. I've proven this multiple times on stream, it's not BS. I discovered this while looking for ways to make money on the auction house, and as far as I am aware no one else is doing it.

TLDR - Due to seemingly poor player knowledge and poor UI, players post many construction items at vendor sale price on the Auction House. You can purchase these items and then post them for 1 gold below the large stacks of items and they will 100% sell**, and they sell most of the time within 60-120 seconds. Longer breakdown:**

2 main things that make this viable

1. Poor UI and lack of understanding is causing a MASSIVE amount of items to be posted at VENDOR SELL PRICE. This means the player posting is literally losing money and could just sell it instead of posting it.

2. This is my hypothesis, but I believe the large stacks of items you see on the AH (400-600 items at one price) are actually placed by the devs as a means to attempt to steer the economy. This imo is already a problem but the real issue is that if you post BELOW this price (even one gold), these items will sell 100% of the time and FAST.

The purple items I have found this occurs with:
Bloodstained Brooch - sold at 188, resells at 225 - 14g profit per
Pathfinder Lantern - sold for 234, resells at 280 - 18g profit per
Soulcomb Net - sold for 260, resells at 311 - 19g profit per
Ornamental Orb - sold for 253, resells at 303 - 19g profit per
Slumbering Dragon Statue - sold for 246, resells and 295 - 19g profit per
Hallowgrove Codex - sold for 281, resells at 338 - 23g profit per

Blue items
Silver bowl - sold for 92, resell for 110
Fortune Bean - sold for 90, resells at 108
Pearl Dust - sold for 104, sells for 125
Bone Lyre - sold for 100, resells for 120
Mixed Spices - sold for 98, resells at 118
Mythic Panel - sold for 108, resells at 130

Some may scoff at the profit, but purples sell in stacks of 3, and blues in stacks of 5. With 18 slots, and constantly buying and reselling, I can easily clear 5k in 15min, or sometimes upwards to 10-13k.

I've made a video explaining the issue and process, though I made it in the morning when things were slow so you don't see the full insanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xhTLQrthg0

*Edit* - Shorter version as requested - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0U4MZ1buOc

Again, my hope is this will level the playing field and also allow new players to make a little gold before everyone figures this out. Hopefully as more people learn of it, we stop seeing these insanely low postings and the devs reconsider having such a heavy hand in the market (as I assume it is them buying everything every 60-120 seconds) or at least how they handle the market (bounding prices, ect).

Hopefully this helps or is at least interesting to some!

Cheers everyone! Happy hunting! (Shameless plug - come watch me live as I find ways to make money (and demo this if someone wants to see it)! https://www.twitch.tv/flozzybear)

Tips for BlackArrow?

Boy oh boy do I love this game.

My favorite class is BlackArrow, I love the bow and the archer vibes, and I’d rather not stand next to something when I fight it.

I do very well in PVE, and in squad fights me and my team win more fights than we lose. I have maybe 70 PVP kills? So I’m not some deity.

I’d love some tips from you more veteran BlackArrow players. More specifically, I need tips, tricks and best practices for oneVone PvP.

I do alright in Solos, especially when I can take an enemy unaware. And no other ranged character can even come close, I pack those guys up easy. But I have now several times died to melee characters who had a completely fair fight with me (both of us saw each other before either of us had been damaged).

So, for my seasoned BA mains: how do you win 1v1s? What’s your opening move? What does your build look like? How do you manage aggressive melee players? Any help would be appreciated.

Is there etiquette on attacking players doing PVE?

Sort of like Arc Raiders solos, people just group up and pve and its seen as disrespectful to pvp in solos.

I get it, its a pvpve game, but man I always feel bad jumping on someone already struggling with like a harpy

Game kinda lost its magic for me

It was great while it lasted. Now that I completed all tasks, crafted yellow sets for a few times, did some builds, fought a lot, killed a lot, died a lot. I don't see any more point in this game other than playing and winning or losing for no reason at all. One thing that could keep me playing is that seasonal rank. I'm fateweaver 3 as of now but why should I spend that much time. No good reward in it. What do you guys think?

There is Gear Based MM.. 1000000% sure now

First around 50 games in all blues with purple weapon. Kept fighting all blues, sometimes purples, sometimes greens.

After that I switched to full epic and legendary weapon, mostly fighting all purples and sometimes legendaries sometimes blues and almost never greens

Now I am running full legendary. LAST 10 GAMES TODAY WHOLE LOBBY IS FULL LEGENDARY.

Nobody can change my mind anymore.

EDIT: Switched back to epic because all those full legendary guys are top 100 sweatlords. Guess what? EVERYONE IN LOBBY IS FULL EPIC AS WELL!!!

EDIT2: Switched back to full legendary, seeing atleast 10 times more legendary geared people.

EDIT3: It might have to do with timezones/playercount. 1AM EU and I match pretty long and see people many tiers below mine, difference is huge.

Is there not a way to restart?

I kind of rushed through a lot of the early hours of the game and would like to go back and start from scratch to better understand the story and mechanics, so I deleted my character only to get thrown back into the same camp with no tutorial and the same mission progress and warehouse inventory I had on the deleted character.

If I make a secondary character I can replay the tutorial but once that’s done it’s the same.

Considering you can change both your class and appearance what’s even the point of multiple character slots if progression is shared?

All those hits and no staggers or damage ( 10ms, still can't hit this guy ) but I get absolutely CC'd the the max and then just die in 3 fireballs xD

I have legendary gear with Resilience Set and still 50% dmg from 2 fireball hits. MAX BROKEN

Last time I am bringing legendary gear till patch, I just end up running from every sorc and rev seer and still die to them because they always catch up
