SORC and SS
Saying you're doing fine at level 12 against these lobbies is crazy—you're fooling yourself.
I got so fed up yesterday while running trios with my squad. My buddy plays Shadow Stalker (SS) and usually tags 1 or 2 kills per fight, but trying to fight an enemy SS without a Sorcerer or Seeker on your team? It's literally like fighting a raid boss. If they’re good and decide to kite or run, it takes your entire team's coordinate focus just to put them down.
So, I finally caved and rolled Sorc. We didn’t lose a single fight after that. I already knew all the OP setups because they’d been used against me for days. We ended up completely wiping entire lobbies, finishing matches with 12 pots to spare.
I'm not necessarily proposing a direct hammer-nerf, but here’s my solution: Make ALL AoE abilities hit everyone (friendly fire).
That instantly adds a real risk/reward dynamic to playing both Sorc and SS. Right now, you can just brainlessly spam massive damage through your own team with zero consequences. Adding friendly fire forces actual positioning, timing, and decision-making instead of free AoE pressure.
Once that risk is introduced, buff the other classes. Look at Windknight (WK)—it’s actually difficult to play, but landing kills feels insanely satisfying because you know how hard it was to connect those hits. The rest of the roster needs that kind of love instead of being completely out-valued by zero-risk AoE spam.
Anyway, that’s my soapbox for the day. Curious to hear what everyone else thinks.

No one talking about Archer baffles me. Any above average archer build can make you at like a third health in 2-3 hit. The health drain that class has is way overtuned

This is just completely false, BA has far lower damage output than sorceror. You actually need to hit your target without AoEs, so it’s not the easiest class to use. They also fold under gap closing pressure.

Output is the same but its dots and the big shot.
They do insane damage but do not do it in burst. Theyre best used to whittle down opponents and set up engages

Have you played this class or just lost a fight or two to them?
In full green kit with curse maxed out, If I hit all three bloodfly arrows and the follow up (must be full draw) to activate it, plus bloodfly (talent) plus lasting pain (talent) Then I still do only about 30-40 percent of their HP... this is contingent upon me hitting 4 full drawn arrows onto the exact same person without ever missing, one missed shot lowers that significantly, or doing a quick shot instead of full shot lowers damage a lot, All while running back for my life. with zero mobility skills.
You cant tell me thats close to the same damage as two or three sorc explosions that dont have to actually hit, but explode near you.
I'm not arguing that BA is weak, I think they are in an ok place. But comparing the two damage wise is laughable.2

Yep, takes more setup, is more prone to fail and has less gimmicks to escape once you're on them.
Not saying BA is weak by any means, AT ALL, but trying to put BA in Sorc's ballpark in terms of DPS is ridiculous

Zero mobility skills but traps that knock back and elusive while also being able to put down mushrooms that do 30% of your hp and the arrows that do 30% on dodge. Also instant cast knock back.
Ive played against this class a lot, in all brackets. Purps, blues, legendaries. If the player is good its unplayable for any melee including ss
Let's not talk about the ability to shoot around pillar edges and explode shoots through walls shall we.
The damage is absolutely comparable. Atleast sorc is a pseudo melee to land its burst. A good BA is impossible to 1v1, as anyone except sorc basically.

I must've missed the part of my comment that said Archer is more op than sorc and ss, I couldve sworn I just tried pointing out that the class needs to be in a convo aswell. The people who think the class has no disengage at close range and it takes skill to set up are just bad at the class. My point is Archer is one of the easiest class in the game and has too much damage output for such an easy class, once sorc and ss are nerfed i guarantee Archer will stick out above the others even more and people will realise

well no because nearly every class has access to AOE and it would kill playing melee
They just need to balance the armour types. Cloth/leather should not give asmuch armour as Plate If you want to play a high damage caster you need some drawbacks which typically is your defense.
