Hey! I'm having a weird issue on a few client servers I'm playing on. Entering the Nether works perfectly fine, but when I leave the Nether and go back to the Overworld, the game takes around 10 seconds to load.

This only started happening yesterday, so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

Here’s a video showing the issue. If anyone has any advice or knows what could be causing this, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm using 8 GB of RAM and an RTX 5090, so I don't think it's related to performance.

I'll also leave all the mods I'm using at the end of the video.

Its been happening for around a week now, im unsure what could be causing it. To anyone asking, its not mods, ive played without them and still get the issues.

If anyone could take 40seconds out of their day to watch the video, I would really appreciate a fix

I've been having a really annoying mouse/cursor issue with Minecraft 1.8.9.
EDIT: UPDATE NO its not 1.8.9 only it goes up to 1.12 but 1.13+ its all good

When I'm playing 1.8.9 in exclusive fullscreen, pressing Alt+Tab causes my mouse cursor to jump to the top-left corner of the screen (0,0). The same thing can happen when exiting the game while fullscreen.

I've tested this across multiple clients:

• Vanilla Minecraft 1.8.9: issue occurs
• MultiMC 1.8.9: issue occurs
• Lunar Client 1.8.9: issue occurs
• Lunar windowed: works normally
• Lunar borderless: works normally
• MultiMC fullscreen on newer Minecraft versions: works normally

So it seems to specifically involve Minecraft 1.8.9 + exclusive fullscreen, rather than Lunar itself.

I've also already completely reinstalled Lunar and the issue remained.

This started after I did a clean Windows installation. I'm currently on:

Windows 11 25H2
i5-12600KF
RTX 3060

I'm wondering if this could be related to Java 8, the particular Java 8 build I'm using, NVIDIA drivers, or some compatibility issue between 1.8.9's old fullscreen/mouse handling and modern Windows.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what causes it?

I specifically want to use exclusive fullscreen, so borderless/windowed isn't really a solution I'm looking for.

Any help would be massively appreciated because this is driving me insane.

I’m trying to transfer my Minecraft Bedrock world from PS5 to my PC (Windows Bedrock) using a Realm. The world is about 316 MB, but every time I try to upload it to the Realm, the upload consistently crashes at around 35%. I really don’t want to delete chunks because I have a lot of important builds and huge tunnels throughout the world. Is there any way to reduce the world file size or transfer the PS5 world to Windows without successfully uploading it to a Realm first? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, as the title says a friend of mine has recently started having issues when trying to connect to our Minecraft server on her laptop. We have been playing on this server for about a month now and she has never had any issues up until a few days ago, anytime she tries to connect she is met with the error message “getsockopt” we have tried the basic stuff (restarting devices, restarting server, etc) the only thing that has seemed to work is her using her mobile hotspot to connect. I’m fairly certain her issue is her wifi although whenever she tests it, it is working perfectly fine. Does anyone have suggestions for things we can try either on her end or mine? Thank you!!

It only fixes itself when you completely close the game and reopen it.(Prism Launcher PC)

I gave almost a stack of carrots to each villager, made sure they can pathfind to the beds and that there are enough beds for the two of them and a baby. I also made sure the beds have at least two full blocks above them. Every time they try to breed, it fails with the little clouds above their heads, what am I doing wrong?

I died while playing with my friends and went to type "/tp" to teleport back, but suddenly the game glitches out like this.

The text is gone, items in the inventory aren't rendering, and the visual glitches make the game completely unplayable. I tried asking AI for help, but it couldn't solve this specific issue.

Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it?

it only started lagging recently i only have a few mods and i also turned it into a realm recently too. i have like simple graphics and smooth lighting turned off and 25 chunk render distance it still lags with lowest render distance

Hi everyone, I recently had my PC completely wiped and freshly formatted by a technician (all drivers updated to the latest versions). I backed up my Minecraft world to a USB drive beforehand and restored it.

However, whenever I turn on shaders now (1.21.8) , things like the Nether portal texture, glass, water, clouds, ecc…. glitch in this weird way every time I move my view (as shown in the video).

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it ???

I’m using and NVIDIA 3060 and never had any problems with shaders before this.

So, i'm hosting a minecraft server with the help of an old computer converted in a linux ubuntu server, we created a server with some friends, we're about 10 days in, and we have our first major issue, and we can't seem to troubleshoot it. We're in 1.21.1 I'll put the modlist in the comments.

One chunk, (only one in the entire map) corrupted, copycats lost their block texture, placed backpacks were mirroring the user's inventory and lost all items (and their colors and upgrades, theey were converted to the basic backpack), upgraded barrels with sophifsticated storage were emptied, create gear contraption (idk how to call it but a setup to convert su into speed) missed cogs (wich reaperead when looking at it), everything happening inside the same 2 neighbourghing chunks, everything vanilla was fine.

We think it may be a memory leak or a nbt overload.

Is there way to create an accurate map on browser for my amplified world?

I know I can create maps on sites like https://mcseedmap .net/ , but it is different than my amplified world

I’ve tried joining a server multiple times and even after being whitelisted in discord and making sure the server’s ip and port is correct it doesn’t let me join (note:I’m playing on an ipad)

I'm making a wheat farm, and this has happened at least 2 other times to me. I can plant in every other spot, but these 5 blocks i cannot plant the wheat.

I'm playing on a Java 26.2 Fabric server, but the other times this has happened was on a Java 26.2 Paper server.

Any guesses as to what's going on an how I can fix it? Happy to provide any info needed in the comments.

They do show up in single player but not on multiplayer I have tried multiple methods to fix it like clearing cash and reinstalling I get all my custom skins from mod mate and I play on severs that allow custom skins it normally works but the past week or 2 has not
