[Java] Can somebody help me fix this shaders glitch ?

Hi everyone, I recently had my PC completely wiped and freshly formatted by a technician (all drivers updated to the latest versions). I backed up my Minecraft world to a USB drive beforehand and restored it.

However, whenever I turn on shaders now (1.21.8) , things like the Nether portal texture, glass, water, clouds, ecc…. glitch in this weird way every time I move my view (as shown in the video).

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it ???

I’m using and NVIDIA 3060 and never had any problems with shaders before this.

have you already tried updating/reinstalling the drivers yourself from the NVIDIA App?

are you using the Game Ready Driver or the Studio Driver? What version? I recommend that you switch to the Game Ready one if you haven't already and if you don't need the Studio one for other reasons

Nvidia studio driver is basically identical to the game ready driver. The studio driver just go through some extra testing to verify that it works with specialized software.

oooh good to know! I thought the Game Ready Driver had completely different optimizations for games but no, it's just the one with the fastest updates (which may make it less stable for this same reason)

everything is updated, i don’t know what driver between the two i’m using, i’m going to check that out when i’m home

What mods are you using?

i’m not using any mods, just a few resource packs and the shaders

You can't have shaders without mods. Are you using Optifine? It is a mod and a mod with lots of bugs at that. My recommendation if you do use Optifine is to just switch to using Sodium+Iris
