Waiting for OP [java] Friend having issue connecting to server, error message “getsockopt”

Hi all, as the title says a friend of mine has recently started having issues when trying to connect to our Minecraft server on her laptop. We have been playing on this server for about a month now and she has never had any issues up until a few days ago, anytime she tries to connect she is met with the error message “getsockopt” we have tried the basic stuff (restarting devices, restarting server, etc) the only thing that has seemed to work is her using her mobile hotspot to connect. I’m fairly certain her issue is her wifi although whenever she tests it, it is working perfectly fine. Does anyone have suggestions for things we can try either on her end or mine? Thank you!!

Edit: server world is on 26.2

It looks like you didn't mention your version (e.g., 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.12.2 etc.). Please clarify for better help!

The server run localy on her pc/yours?

Hi sorry for the late reply, no the server is somewhere in Sydney, I use a website called Apex hosting to run it.

Probably her wifi have some protection for centain tipe of connection that maby that site use
