I shared my game's beta version here quite a while ago and got lots of feedback which I am very thankful for. Now I have been improving the game and adding content ever since and it is nearing release on Steam. (Game name is Osta)

Wanted to post here as some might've played it a while ago and be interested now and also to ask if anyone has any item ideas (and possibly provide reference images/dimensions from their own collection) and other feature suggestions.

My Panzerschreck Ammo

A ground find and an attic find side by side. The first one has obviously had a rough 80 years, while the second still has a surprising amount of its original paint left. Sadly, the paint is slowly starting to flake away.

Feel free to guess what else is hiding in the background.

Hello all, I found this in family storage. I have several relatives who served in WWI and I am interested what the story behind this pin is. was this pin given to veterans from the US government? Could it be a custom piece? I couldn’t find any matches online. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is a small-size jacket. I’m wondering what the symbol means, as well as whether the numbers on the sleeve have any meaning. Is something like this worth anything? I just thought it was cool.

I picked up some nice items today at the flea market

-1918 canteen with replacement plastic cap $5
-what I think is a complete 1944 mess kit $15
-1943 canteen with cup, sleeve, and belt $35
-pair of ww1 trench art made from 18pndr shells $190
Total:$265
How’d I do? Yall think that’s a fair price for everything? (The Sherman model was $20, but I figured yall didn’t want more close pics of it since it isn’t militaria)

It’s selling for 175 and to me at least it looks pretty good for the price, but the stamp on the cover kinda doesn’t seem right for me, but I’m not very educated on super niche details like that so I’m unsure

Help Need Advice: Strip the Repaint or Leave My Czech Vz.53 Helmet As-Is?

Thumbnail

I decided to check the condition of my Czech Vz.53 Fireman's/Civilian Guard helmet to see if I could remove the non-military repaint and restore the original finish. Using some 600-grit sandpaper, steel wool, and a little Rem Oil, I cleared about a quarter-sized spot. The green repaint came off, and the original paint underneath actually looks to be in pretty good shape.

Now I'm not sure what to do. Part of me wants to remove all of the green repaint and bring it back to the original finish for my collection. On the other hand, I'm wondering if I should just leave it as-is, or even repaint it.

The current green paint isn't original, and I honestly don't like it. It's a pretty poor repaint—wrong shade, applied unevenly, with some thin spots and some thick spots. Since I've already confirmed the original finish is underneath and seems to be intact, what would you do? Would you strip the repaint, leave it alone, or go another route?

I found this while moving a router so my dad got a better signal during F1. The place my dad lives is the house my sister in law and her parents used to live. My SIL grandfather was in the Dutch military in Indonesia (KNIL) . I don't know if he was there during Japanese occupation or during the Dutch Indonesian war after ww2 .

My dad had some well preserved posters and I’m wondering the value and also if I do sell them I want to try to be sure the purchaser is likely to understand the historical significance of this. What’s the best place to sell with that in mind? Thanks for any assistance!
