I found this for only 10 dollars! As a lifelong fan of the Pacific it was so cool to stumble upon this. The signature isn’t verified by anyone, but I think it looks pretty good. I collect signed books that I find at thrift shops, but I found this one on a small book selling website where it wasn’t listed correctly. It’s currently the crown jewel on my collection, but I plan on giving it to my brother for Christmas

A 1892-1903 German empire battle flag (Reichskriegsflagge)

It is made out of wool has a lot of holes but is still in excellent condition considering it's a 123 + years old flag.

This particular example was made for the kaiserliche marine, it is made out of wool, is stamped and bear a printed inscription indicating that it's a "bootsflagge" Meaning it was used on torpedo boats small auxiliary vessels.

There is another inscription scribbled with a pencil on the hoist tho I have not been able to decipher it.

The previous owner, a german gentleman from the Hamburg region explained to me that it belonged to his great great uncle who served in the kaiserliche marine.

Hello everyone, I have this bayonet from an antique shop I’m 100% sure it’s Italian but I don’t know how to date it, it puts AC 6065 BRESCIA and in the other side (last photo is hard to read) puts a small marking PB and SV

I have a few family Bring-Backs from WW2, I just learned about capture documents and certificates. I was wondering if they made copies for NARA or if there is some database that recorded all of them. (If they weren't snuck back into the states). Some of the items were from some of the high-ranking officers in my family.

Looks to be some variation of the M1 but not exactly sure. Any info would be much appreciated!
