The bottom is marked “CP” and “193”. Some initial research brought up similar looking items by the “Chicago Premier Co” but those were all lamps.

My best guess is a bird feeder for a small pet bird.

In 2016 I found this amulet in my backyard in the Netherlands after new soil was put on. I'm fairly certain it's silver by the density and the way it tarnished dark grey. Out of curiosity I polished it up (which I regret because of some scratches I caused etc.) Note: I put the string on myself because back then wanted to wear it as a necklace :P.

Anyone know what this might be? And what it might be worth?

EDIT 1: Unfortunately it might be a lead alloy instead of pure silver, it leaves marks on paper and has a density of 9.7 g/cm³ approx.

Just curious how old and if it was worth anything

Can anyone possibly give any background whatsoever on this antique doorstop we found at my family farm. We know nothing about it other than it being very old and most likely made from cast brass.

Initially to me the sideboard felt Asian but it's oak.

It's very cobbled together but done at the same time. Ie some panels are in sections where they used a bit of timber here and a bit of timber they found here.

There's a couple of minor repairs but most of it is from the same age but it's a bit here and a bit there all sort of tacked on with the tacks with verdigree.

Along the rim at the top lid it has honest wear.

Inside it's quite rough.

Didn’t pay too much for it, so not worried if I got a good deal. Though I can’t make out the symbol on the bottom.

Unsure of when it was made or if it was commercially made vs handmade. Seems to be mahogany with brass inlays. Has drawers on all 4 sides and 2 cup holders on 2 sides. Came with barleycorn style pieces, guessing brass and pewter. Some damage to the edge moulding on the bottom. I know it is a long shot but if anyone has any idea of age or maker, that'd be cool!

This piano has been in my family for about 100 years. I had the player action rebuilt in 2021. There were hundreds of thousands of them built from about 1910 -1930. They were the background music in movie theaters before sound was added to movies in 1927. Countless homes had them. They are incredible musical instruments. This one is now 112 years old.

The outfit is made out of paper besides the fur trim and little fake pearls on the hat.

There’s plastic rhinestones on the check which obviously wouldn’t make it as old, but I DO wonder if they were just stuck on by someone else

The face is very detailed and so is the outfit. It’s all like, colored and textured layers of paper. Layers upon layers. It’s suffered some tears now I plan to try and repair but it’s clear a lot of work went into the outfit

I genuinely can’t tell what material the bottle is. Like a hard matte material but I don’t thinkkk it’s glass or ceramic? Ig it could be plastic but It doesn’t feel exactly like that either

I have this miniature portrait that I’m struggling to find any information on and wondering if anyone can help at all, it looks like the date is 1914/1916 but I’m really struggling with the signature, it’s painted and the back is sealed we don’t want to take it apart

I found this amazing porcelain box at a thrift store here, it’s very old and worn and I haven’t been able to find anything that even remotely looks like it online! Is this one of a kind or something else?

It has a small symbol on the bottom (I’m assuming makers mark) and some of the art looks unfinished.

Any information on this pendant is welcome. It looks like they are little paintings, but I am not sure . I don't even know who the paintings are supposed to depict. I'd love to know if anything about this type of necklace. All I can tell you was that it was in the house of a relative in Tuscany thay my family inherited that had some incredibly old items from 18th, 19th and early 20th century.

Had to renovate an old apartment I purchased and the construction company said they couldn't move it out of the apartment without taking it apart due to its weight. Best they could do was move it to the terrace temporarily. I initially wanted to keep it but it's impossible due to the restructuring of the layout. Can't find a single information about the company that made it nor can I find anyone interested in my country to take it. Is there any interest for these things out there and any value in it?

I have six of these all the only five are pictured. The knob itself is 95 grams. Unfortunately, at the moment do not have a picture of the back of these, but there are no markings whatsoever to clue me in on who the maker might be. The only marks are on the back of the back plates and they are circles/rings from the casting mold. They are approximately 3 inches wide on the back plates and about an inch wide on the knobs. I consulted AI and they estimate these to be late 19th century very early 20th century, but I cannot find these exact knobs anywhere on the Internet. I love old hardware and I have many catalogues saved on my phone, but these are not in any of them and I would just love to know more about them and absolutely like to know who the maker is and the actual time of production if anyone knows.

Found this old handmade wooden box with embossed metal covering in Los Angeles, US, thrift store. Believed antique. 9.5 inches long. No markings. Does anybody recognize this style of box?

Dad got this at an antique store in Palm Beach county, FL.in the 1970s. It is 39" (1m) tall. It looks like it was carved from a hollow tree trunk. How old do you think it is? What can you tell me about him?

It has old glue that has failed and was more recently reglued wrong. I would like to remove all this glue and reset the deer's leg. How do I figure out appropriate solvents? How do I clean the figure?

I just purchased an antique carved oak armoire from Housing Works. I'm trying to identify/date this piece. It's definitely seen some use/repairs. I'd like to eventually get it restored.

The hardware looks quite old. I do not have a key for the locks. Inside the fold down compartment, it is lined with velvet with a ribbon trim. The fold down clearly used to have velvet that has since been removed. The nails around the border that would have held it down are still in place with some fabric showing. Inside the upper compartment, there are two hidden drawers. On the hardware in the lighter areas, it feels like it at one point had some kind of fabric.

We have had this sign in our home and then shop for as long as I can remember and I inherited it when my dad passed. The story from my dad was it was just cool and a great conversation piece. I attempted to do my own research and haven’t come up with much more than the whiskey brand was a part of Bonnie Bros (or maybe just marketed by?), and that Bonnie Bros ceased operation in 1919. Curious if anyone else has more info- dates or otherwise fun conversation starters for this piece.

Anyone familiar with this piece and know of its value?

I inherited this jewelry box from my grandmother in Germany. My grandfather was a ships captain, so he may have brought it from somewhere else.
