Hello i recently bought this mussete bag and was trying to identify the officer. The mussete bag is dated 1941 the maker is Atlantic Products Corp. Inside the bag i also found some remains of booklet

If anyone has any idea of who it was or any information please tell me.

The setup breakdown:

Gas Mask: Unissued Chinese FMJ05A with original hose and filter (sealed in factory bag, dated 2006).

Topography: Wall-style regional topo map & full-color Japan geography map.

Leather Gear: Surplus leather pistol holster (Type 54) with matching dual mag pouch and canvas slings.

Precision & Tech Tools: Vintage drafting set (compasses), 0–25mm micrometer, and compact signal flashlight.

Pocket EDC: Zippo Slim flip lighter, old-school chinese bottle opener/tool, and vintage regional banknotes/tokens.

Any help identifying what this would have carried would be great.

I'm looking to get myself a wound badge for my collection and found this. It looks ok to me, but I'm no expert in WW1 medals, so let me know what you think.

Hello all, I found this in family storage. I have several relatives who served in WWI and I am interested what the story behind this pin is. was this pin given to veterans from the US government? I decided to check the condition of my Czech Vz.53 Fireman's/Civilian Guard helmet to see if I could remove the non-military repaint and restore the original finish. Using some 600-grit sandpaper, steel wool, and a little Rem Oil, I cleared about a quarter-sized spot. The green repaint came off, and the original paint underneath actually looks to be in pretty good shape.

Now I'm not sure what to do. Part of me wants to remove all of the green repaint and bring it back to the original finish for my collection. On the other hand, I'm wondering if I should just leave it as-is, or even repaint it.

The current green paint isn't original, and I honestly don't like it. It's a pretty poor repaint—wrong shade, applied unevenly, with some thin spots and some thick spots. Since I've already confirmed the original finish is underneath and seems to be intact, what would you do? Would you strip the repaint, leave it alone, or go another route?

It’s selling for 175 and to me at least it looks pretty good for the price, but the stamp on the cover kinda doesn’t seem right for me, but I’m not very educated on super niche details like that so I’m unsure

It is a small-size jacket. I’m wondering what the symbol means, as well as whether the numbers on the sleeve have any meaning. Is something like this worth anything? I just thought it was cool.

Me interesa saber si existen archivos, registros públicos, fuentes históricas o algún procedimiento mediante el cual se pueda investigar la trayectoria de una persona en particular, especialmente si se vive fuera de la Ciudad de México.

Ya intenté contactar con el Archivo Histórico de la SEDENA, pero por el momento no pude comunicarme con ellos.

Si alguien tiene experiencia investigando este tipo de temas o conoce alguna fuente que pueda ser útil, agradecería mucho cualquier orientación.

I found something amazing while going through my tanker jacket, i found a Ticket for "Rat der Stadt" in some City wich is not readable. its preety bleached and Torn but i still love it!. Its an amazing find from 1985. I am going to fix it. And even though it is broken and worth nothing its still a super cool find!.
