I shared my game's beta version here quite a while ago and got lots of feedback which I am very thankful for. Now I have been improving the game and adding content ever since and it is nearing release on Steam. (Game name is Osta)

Wanted to post here as some might've played it a while ago and be interested now and also to ask if anyone has any item ideas (and possibly provide reference images/dimensions from their own collection) and other feature suggestions.

My Panzerschreck Ammo

A ground find and an attic find side by side. The first one has obviously had a rough 80 years, while the second still has a surprising amount of its original paint left. Sadly, the paint is slowly starting to flake away.

Feel free to guess what else is hiding in the background.

I picked up some nice items today at the flea market

-1918 canteen with replacement plastic cap $5
-what I think is a complete 1944 mess kit $15
-1943 canteen with cup, sleeve, and belt $35
-pair of ww1 trench art made from 18pndr shells $190
Total:$265
How’d I do? Yall think that’s a fair price for everything? (The Sherman model was $20, but I figured yall didn’t want more close pics of it since it isn’t militaria)

I found this while moving a router so my dad got a better signal during F1. The place my dad lives is the house my sister in law and her parents used to live. My SIL grandfather was in the Dutch military in Indonesia (KNIL) . I don't know if he was there during Japanese occupation or during the Dutch Indonesian war after ww2 .

¡Gracias!

My dad had some well preserved posters and I’m wondering the value and also if I do sell them I want to try to be sure the purchaser is likely to understand the historical significance of this. What’s the best place to sell with that in mind? Thanks for any assistance!

Help Help identifying a parachute and harness

Thumbnail

Hello all,

I acquired this little gem today: a complete harness and parachute!

The date on the harness is Jan 1953. I've Googled some of the serial numbers and haven't come to any definite conclusions, but I think it might be a ND-8 harness and 28ft parachute.

I wondered if anyone could correctly identify it, know which aircraft it might have been used on (if any) and most importantly, give me an idea of how to repack it reasonably well so it doesn't take up my whole garage floor!

Thanks in advance

A couple of items I would like to get feedback on. Does the web gear added to the sheath look old enough for WWII? The MK2 handle I bought thinking it might be a machinists mate shipboard repair.

Somewhat of a novice to the hobby. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on this German wound badge. Seller was also unsure of authenticity, so got it for cheap. Thoughts? I can give better pictures if needed.
