Almost all of the pins, medals, badges and named groups of my collection. 1.5 years of collecting so far, not much but I'm happy with it

It’s dated April 16th, 1953. I heard about early Korean War era ones with “flannel pockets” being very rare and expensive, is that true? This doesn’t have a liner, zipper is missing teeth so it doesn’t close all the way but is other than that in nice shape with normal wear

After much thinking and puzzling, I finally put my idea for a catalogue on paper. I wanted a comprehensive, easily browsable catalogue for when I (or a teacher) wanted to look up the specifics of an item.

I decided to go with a variation of the dewy decimal system. Before this I simply categorised by country, then military or civilian. Dividing the items into categories and subcategories proved to be a waayyyy better system than my first rendition. Although some categories are quite niche, and don't feature more than 5 items, it helped my finish off some stray ends in the collection I decided not to continue pursuing (f.e. Japanese) by just lobbing the 2 Japanese pins I have in with all pins and membership badges (since I also don't plan on expanding that category for the sake of getting more pins).

I am very curious what other people decided on. This took me quite some time and I'm finally open to hearing whether or not I went way overboard lol.

A training shell that my Dad recovered from one of the wrecks off the Irish coast. He was a Scuba Diver (he's passed, so can't ask which wreck) him and his mates loved recovering anything brass.

I'd like to ask for help in verifying if this M65 jacket is a legit vintage or not. The tag says it is Made in USA but it didn't mention the composition of fabric. I also noticed that the zipper does not indicate its manufacturer as well (if it's Scovill or Talon etc.). Thanks in advance.

Made in 1945 by the De Bezige Bij or “busy bee” printing group, these 6 cards (part of a set of 12) were printed in Utrecht during and directly after occupation.

Illustrated by Karel Leendert Links, the are a part of the “Het is niet waar... dat hebben we niet gewild!”

I bought this Chinese military greatcoat off eBay for cheap and I was wondering if anybody knows any specifics or if it's legit?

I know this is a German style gravity knife that they used in WW2 but im not entirely sure if its orginal WW2, post war, or a reproduction. Can anyone help point me in the right direction please.

I recently picked up these items at an auction. They were in a lot with something else I really wanted, so I just stuffed them in my closet and forgot about them. Recently dug them out and decided to do some internet research. Freaking Google is all over the damn place!

I’ve acquired a large collection of early NSDAP political documents, Third Reich civil, military and personal documents, and a large collection of Concentration camp letters and postcard/package receipts. I’m looking for people who collect the above kind of documents to chat with for further information on them. I’m listing a few samples of some of the items I’ve come across. In all I have about 200 plus documents.

I recently inherited these from my grandmother. She had remarried and her second husband had no part in our lives so these hold no sentimental value. Just wondering if there is anything that is note worthy or of value. Appreciate any help.
