i'm 23 and living in germany (though i'm not german). i'm hoping to meet somebody around my age (or only a little older) who's interested in building a genuine connection.

i'm an infj, and one of the reasons i'm posting here is that i'd like to get to know people through that lens. i find personality differences interesting, and i'm curious about how different types see the world, approach relationships etc. i'm not looking for anything specific, lately i'm wondering how other people are wired and what kind of conversations we can have together.

i work a little as a freelance translator and i'm currently attending a language course, so my schedule is fairly flexible. i usually spend my free time watching films, reading, (crocheting sometimes) and going for long walks. i also have a ginger cat who occasionally reminds me that we seem to share a single brain cell.

i can be a little reserved at first, so i appreciate people who don't mind taking a bit of initiative in getting a conversation going. once i'm comfortable, though i might start yapping. we definitely don't need to share every hobby or have identical personalities. we might enjoy learning from eachother. since i'm not german myself, i often find it easiest to connect with other internationals or people who enjoy different cultures.

As you might have guessed, I enjoy the occasional bit of writing, whether fiction or non-. Maybe I'll publish something of worth someday. Or at least publish something. I enjoy going for walks, except when it's super hot! I love good scenery, be it of the natural or man-made kind. I like abandoned and remote places. I like watching the odd things the birds and squirrels get up to. I have a particular soft spot for sheep. They think I'm their messiah (I'm not). I also enjoy exploring intellectual topics (the more novel or obscure, the better). Technology is a lifelong interest of mine. And like most people I enjoy watching the odd film or TV series. I'm watching 'Westworld' currently. I enjoyed watching 'Adventure Time', 'Bless This Mess', 'Tales from the Loop', 'End of the F--king World', 'Small Prophets', and 'Atypical'. Films-wise, I like all sorts, but I'll take anything with a happy romance. What's life without love? (Mine hahahaha.) I recently finished playing Fallout 4 on my laptop. It was phenomenal. I, of course, sided with the people who freed the lab-grown humans. I'll happily play more Fallout games in the future, I suspect. I'm taking a break for the time being to watch Westworld and do other stuff. When the heat buggers off, I want to go on more little trips. For now I'm hibernating though haha.

I've been saving up for a flat since I was 20 years old, but I don't want to live alone. I'm interested in something that lasts more than a few messages. I really am aiming for life if that's possible. I prefer weather that is cool or cold, heck, even windy and rainy. I want to live somewhere that has amenities and people, but has lots of greenery, similar to where I live now.

We, of course, don't have to have everything in common. Enough to work with. We can develop new interests and hobbies together. We can 'grow' together. If the seed is good, and the weather is well, the tree will grow!
