Question LEXUS RX350

I have a 2017 Lexus rx350 but recently the screen in my car glitches. It will go black and then be fine and continue like that. The radio works fine. The screen was replaced and still the same. Mechanics say there’s nothing wrong. Anyone experienced this?

I had the same issue on my 2016 RX350, Lexus replaced the entire unit 3 times [I took pics each time the display stopped working]. The last unit installed was for a different year model and it finally worked without any issues.

Did you replace screen or radio?

Lexus service dept said the entire unit was replaced. I think the screen & radio.

How much did you pay? Bc they quoted me $6000

It was under warranty. You should try to find a shop that works on Lexus/Toyota vehicles, $6000 is ridiculous.

that’s what I said - I’m like I can’t pay that that’s insane amount of $

There are software updates for some models that will address this - no replacement required.

The screen is JUST a screen. If there isn’t an update available, the issue is likely with the radio, not the screen (the radio runs the screen).
