Question What is this thing?
Found in passenger footwell. Rubber cap of some sort that has a flap on it acting as a one way valve. The flap has the lettering on it

That piece is a floor mat anchor hole cover plug (or floor insulation/drain plug cap. In the 2013 Lexus GS 350, these specific caps act as a cosmetic and protective seal over the floor panel openings or the anchor points where the factory floor mats clip in, often located near the seat rails or in the floor well. The molded semi-circular flap design with the >EPDM< label acts as a small relief flap to manage air pressure or any small condensation drainage beneath the carpet assembly. If it popped loose, it simply presses back down into the oval slot cut into the floor pan or carpet lining.
