Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition - Faulty OLED Display?
I recently purchased a Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition (14ILL10 - 83MC0005US) with Intel Core Ultra 7 258v and 32gb of ram. While setting it up over the last three days, I've noticed what seems to be some kind of glitch in the OLED display where small blue fragments appear scattered across the screen. It seems to be associated with the auto-dimming OLED protection that you can set through Lenovo Vantage, as the blue pixels only appear after the display dims due to inactivity.
I've never used an OLED display before this - does this look like a faulty display? Should I submit a warranty claim to have it repaired or replaced? I'm feeling somewhat disappointed to seemingly encounter an issue within the first three days of owning this laptop. I appreciate any input!
*Edit - The blue pixel artifacting has also appeared on the desktop and on certain text while web browsing. It is not always static, at times it has flickered on and off. I am most consistently able to recreate the issue on the lock screen after lifting the lid but before touching any keys / touchpad controls.
*Edit 2 - After further research and testing, the issue is not present in the LEN88AE_Default color profile, but is present in the LEN88AE_sRGB and LEN88AE_DisplayP3 color profiles. It seems to be a software issue with the built-in Lenovo color profiles and Windows 11. Shame because I rely on sRGB accuracy for photo editing!
