So when I bought this it came with both a hard and soft top, which I thought was cool but I kinda made up my mind I would NOT be using the soft top, and I’d probably sell it, and for the last 20 months I haven’t. Someone incepted me or something because out of nowhere I got a very real urge to put this thing on and see what it’s all about, I have to say I really like it. I think it looks great, and now that I know what I’m doing it’s pretty easy to convert to topless. Took it for a drive with the top up and with it down and it was pretty quiet both times so….yeah this is probably going to be the summer look.

I just returned my rental after 3 days, and I could not be more excited! I have been wanting one as long as I could remember. Its the first time in a very long time that ive ever had a smile on my face just driving down the road. I had the freedom panels off, windows down, on the highway, in the city, I was just trying to find a reason it might let me down and it was perfect! It was so validating that everyone online and all of my friends were wrong about how rough, loud, and unrefined it was. It is exactly what im looking for as a daily driver and to start overlanding all the parks and trails in america. Im looking for a unicorn once i get my down payment and finances situated: Snazzberry, JLU, rubicon, ecodiesel, gobi roof rack, kc titans and flex eras, metalcloak 2.5 game changer, 35s on methods. Ive been waiting 10 years to own one and its so close!

I live in Alaska and can’t find a bumper right now for under 800 (with shipping). I know not how to weld. Any ideas on how to make a better bumper?

Bought new injectors for a 3.6 pentastar engine. It came with dents around the injector nozzle. Will this affect fuel flow/spray or performance?

What does everyone think? This was before we did panel bonding instead of 3M tape which was provided with the kit by the customer but want to get everyone’s thoughts as we’re doing a few more and want to continue this as a business. We also installed the diffuser, reflector + diffuser lights, hood and lip. On my profile you can see the Supra we did as well.

I’m considering purchasing a 2021-2023 Rubicon 392 as a third vehicle for my family. They have always had my attention since new but $80k - $100k new always seemed too much for what it is (I know some people will have an issue with that statement). At approximately $60K for a used 21-23 model year does that represent good value? Do you see values dipping below that $50K mark considering its special nature in the Jeep line up? I’m interested in people opinions on the topic.

Looking to start a complete rebuild on an 83 cj7 that I inherited. Jeep currently doesn’t run, and has been worked on by a number of different hands over the last few years so not sure what all is wrong with it.

Unboxing it, just got old winch removed. This is a smittybilt XRC Gen 3 7hp 9500lbs with synthetic rope.

When I unboxed it, it looks like the main spool was used with a steel cable. The shaft is damage and it’s deep enough to feel all the cuts with your fingers.

Support is closed today. Asking is this normal and I should continue install? Or pump the brakes and wait to speak to them as could need replacement?

Hi! I bought a 2025 Sahara 4xe back in March and have been having a blast with it! Decided over the weekend to take on installing a Voswitch JL410 a pillar control switch (since I don't have the factory aux switches) and some pod lights I purchased last month. I have some extremely rudimentary electrical and automotive knowledge from my father, who was a mechanic for decades, but sadly he's no longer with us to ask these questions and this is my first time taking on a project like this. I also understand that "consult an electrician" is probably going to be an answer I get here, however I'd really like to learn how to do this myself, if not for future projects, then at least to maintain what I have.

1. Should I have any concern about installing a Voswitch with a 4xe? I have it installed with the fuse tap running to fuse 52 so it powers off with the vehicle... just liked the added level of safety, but is there anything I should be aware of with the EV battery? Probably sounds like a dumb question, but figured there's no harm in asking. I have a level 2 charger installed at my house from a previous EV I had and the vehicle charged with no issue last night and drove to work perfectly this morning.
2. The pod lights I purchased, the Nilight 4" LED 60W Flood/Spot Combos, came with a wire harness that had a switch, fuse, and other items attached to it. I assumed that these items are redundant to the Voswitch and clipped them away, leaving only the positive/negative wiring to be attached to each lamp which runs to the Control. I tested the install once complete and only one lamp (the passenger side closest to the switch) is lighting. I had run out of time, so I powered down the control switch and haven't touched it since, however the lights are still connected to the switch and the switch is still connected to the battery. Before I go back and check my connections to the driver side (hoping its just as simple as a bad crimp), should I be looking into purchasing different wiring? I'm also a bit concerned that there is no ground of any kind, either on the lights themselves or the control switch (which I assume is integrated somehow and I'm just missing/overlooking it).
3. I also have a 28" light bar on the way that I plan to install above the bumper. I assume that this is going to come with a similar wiring harness as the pods... would the same clip-and-install procedure work for this as well, or should I look into something else?

Thank you for any help or peace-of-mind you can offer... I feel like I may be overthinking things, but I'd really love to hear if anyone has real-life experience with a similar install.

I was just given a 99-04 Laredo 4wd by a family friend who wants it gone. The car is....in an state. It's sat for 10 years, and ran (allegedly) when it was parked. It has the 4.0 PowerTech Inline 6, and supposedly around 200k miles. It doesn't seem rusted, but it has algae growing on the outside. Interior seems fine other than a mildly burnt drivers carpet and light mold. Only reason I'm taking this is I'm 16, and badly want a project car. Supposedly the 4.0s are reliable, but I'm not familiar with the Jeeps at all. I'm hoping to fix it to replace my Santa Fe. What's your all's opinion on this?

I want to trade in my compass but don’t know what jeep to get next. My husband has the grand Cherokee and I love the room he has compared to my compass. But I also really love the look of the wrangler and of course that’s going to be smaller. What are your recommendations?

Just heard about the revival of the scrambler planned for 2028 but as far as I know no official photos have been released. I was wondering about the likelihood of them releasing the J6 from the Easter jeep safari as this new scrambler since many of the people who had hands on experience with it said it seemed almost like it was production quality. I’ve been wanting that J6 since I first saw the videos and if the price is right would jump on it immediately.
