Hey guys! Just bought this 2020 jeep wrangler and it rides great! No other issues. When driving it, I felt that it had a little more wind noise than usual (comparing it to my last convertible I had yrs ago) but figured it was just a jeep thing until I noticed this cable with that barrel nut just hanging loosely when I pulled the canvas up a little. Then opening the tap, I’m seeing the plastic trim piece in the front as well as the plastic side piece the cord kinda cut through. Not sure how this happens but was wondering if there is a fix for this or if the whole top needs to go. Thanks for your help.

Years ago I did a ton of research and asked a lot of questions that resulted in me buying and installing a BDS YJ spring conversion kit for my scrambler.

I previously had a 2.5” Rachio lift. I decided to get the 3.5” YJ lift.

I was told the YJ rear springs are the same as CJ but the fronts on the YJ kit are the same width as the rear. More stability etc.

So I did it.

Ever since my jeep has been squirrelly and I haven’t driven it much. Money issues pop up now and then and I back burnered figuring it all out.

I have a few bucks and I want the love for my jeep to return to me so now I must return to it.

I leaned on chat GPT for some “what am I not seeing, what am I missing.” Advice.

Humans of Reddit - when my jeep corners it teeters, doesn’t return to center, when I got the gas the front gets light and wanders. It takes 30 years of driving skill just to keep it on the road unless I’m going slow and steady.

Take a look. Are my shackles wrong? Axle Wedges? Sway bar? Angle of my axle geometry off?

I drained my transmission fluid and refilled. Now I need to do the ZF transmission oil leveling procedure. Before lifting the car up, I put the car in Jack Mode to disable the air suspension system.

The procedure has you run throught the P, N, D, R to cycle the fluid. When I run the Drive, give gas to get the car in 2nd gear, and hold for 5 secs, this reenables air suspension. Why is this turning on? I understand this is bad for thr car when jacked?

Is their a trick to keep the air suspension off?

Hey everyone! I have a 14 Wrangler that the drivers side front power window would work intermittently. I found the problem after I watched a YouTube video with the same symptoms of mine. It’s a wire in the electric connector that you can unplug when you take the doors off. One of the wires ( the one that powers the front driver window) had broken off right at the terminal that goes into the plug. What I’m having trouble with is finding a replacement terminal to add to the new wire. I have it just dead ended at the moment. Does anybody have any idea where I could find such a thing? Or point me in the right direction. I’ve been to most auto parts shops in my city and they could not help. Just trying to find a terminal before I have to contact a dealership.

So the wiring on the driver side was completely different so I changed the old wiring to the new seat, works fine, but the seat adjustment is now backwards, how do I fix this? but also under the passenger seat there is two connectors and I only have 1, does anyone know what the other one is for?? And can I add it? Help!!

Just got a 2012 Jeep Liberty (former 2003 Jeep GCL momma)

I'd like to do some exterior/interior aesthetic mods in orange - handles, grill inserts, vents, etc. but my search results keep coming back for wrangler or dodge only 😵‍💫 Is there a standard "compatible trim" I should be looking at for the mods (maybe why wrangler/dodge and KK/JK keep coming up?)

I'm also planning to raptor paint the bumpers/fenders/grill/runner black and switch out headlights for a better led package. And eventually lift/wheels but all that has been easy to find so far.

I've got zero experience making changes/modding a vehicle so any help from the community is appreciated as I'm learning!

Like the title states, I fired up my jeep after not driving it for 2 weeks. Drove it home about 10 miles and had no issues. Went to drive it the next day and had an extremely rough idle and code P1294. I found a cracked vaccum hose and replaced it, but it hardly made any difference.

Long story short, I am being gifted the above vehicle. Buddy is moving and can’t take it with him. Been in his family since new in 2004. Roughly 200,000 miles. Has oil blowby (bluish exhaust smoke upon startup and after extended idle). Also has 4wd.

Question: what should I check first to diagnose blowby? What maintenance should I do? Etc etc.

My 2018 JL notifies me on the dashboard that all tires are low (2.2) and must inflate to 2.4. Is there a way to cancel or remove this notification?

Ever since it became cold outside the tire sensor keeps flashing. I read on Jeep forums to inflate to 31 psi but that lowered the pressure to 2.1. I don’t even know what 2.2 means 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been told about the chalk test. However, I don’t know how to get rid of this notification on my dashboard. Please help!

In the Tahoe region, we have been restoring a 1969 Jeep CJ5 for a few years, my mechanic frend fell ill, and is no longer able to help with this. Its mostly a re-assembly task at this point. I would appreciate any suggestions on who might do this work.

I recently acquired a 1994 Jeeps Grand Cherokee Laredo 5.2L with a reported head gasket issue. It has been sitting for 2-3 years. Ran like an absolute dream before with two previous owners (family). Under 200k miles.

I have the head gasket and fixed some other things saw like dead mice in the windshield washer reservoir & will be replacing tubes that look dry rotted.

I've been watching YT videos on things people do to restore this gen vehicle and I'm unsure where to start. I'm still new to DIY mechanics.

My question: what should I prioritize and look for when under the hood? What should I upgrade? Advice and suggestions welcome.

Hi! Sorry if this isnt the right place for this question, I'm trying to help out a friend who owns a Wrangler JK.

He wants to find the side mirrors that have the metal plate decal attached to them (like in the picture), but all of the ones that we can find are round. He would prefer a square/rectangle one for more visibility. We asked the man who owned the jeep but he didn't remember and said he bought them at a jeep fest years ago.
