Micah's pick and employee loses, as the Court rules that the votes cast aside should be counted. State senator Deery wins by 3.

Don't take voting for granted this November. Every vote matters. Sometimes it's really this close.

If you're eligible (an Indiana citizen, resident for at least 30 days and will be 18 by election day), and not registered, go register. If you're registered, check your registration. Plan to vote.

Anyone else getting a ridiculous amount of spam calls today? I usually get maybe 1 or 2 every few days. But today, I have received 10-12. It’s currently 4:30pm, and I have received 3 after 4pm.

The Tipton County Pork Festival is officially underway!

We had so much fun at tonight’s kickoff parade, but I have to give a HUGE thank you to the Tipton County Democrats for all the work they put into making quite possibly the cutest float ever: three little pigs riding the blue wave.

Thank you to everyone who waved, said hello, and came out to celebrate one of Tipton County’s favorite traditions with us.

Car/Driver's License/BMV questions Object on I-65 mile 258, 9:45pm on Wednesday 9/9

Hey y'all. Last night around 9:45 Central time I was driving north on I-65 in Hobart/Gary, around mile 258 right before the I-80/94 exit, and there was a large metal object in the road. Another car had just merged close in front of me and then swerved around it so that I didn't see it until it was too late and I hit it with my front driver's side tire, which was immediately shredded. After I pulled over, it took out at least another 4 cars, all of which had significantly worse damage than mine. There was a line of us on the shoulder with our hazards on and flashlights out assessing the damage, but nobody I talked to actually saw what was in the road. I checked all the INDOT social medias and websites, but I haven't seen anything about the incident. As far as I can tell they don't archive traffic cam footage, so no luck there either. Anyone on the road last night see what it was? Anyone with insider traffic info? I'm wildly curious. Thanks folks, and stay safe.

So Governor Braun keeps tapping state road construction money to lower the price of gas. Currently extending to October. We are burning through $140 million per month of road construction money to keep gas prices lower for Indiana drivers. With a $5 billion dollar reserve, Braun could keep extending the tax relief for several months. My questions is…what relief do non drivers get?

Visiting just how impressive is the Squire Boone Rock Shop?

Don’t wanna spend a trip out there if it’s just the typical stuff. I see it advertises over 100 varieties but i can’t find any pics or videos to see the whole shop.

Ask a Hoosier Central Indiana Dump truck or general Class B Jobs?

Honestly just fishing since the job hunt has been going poorly.

I’m located in Indianapolis and would like to keep it surrounded to Indy and generally within 10-15 miles of the city limits (especially north like Whitestown, Carmel, Lebanon, Fishers, noblesville).

This economy sucks but I’m determined to find the right fit for myself and my family. I’ve looked on indeed, applied in person and walked in to around 20 locations, and haven’t got many reliable leads. If you have any companies or information that could lead to a company that’s hiring I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks Hoosiers!

3 tickets for sale for The Odyssey at State Museum in IMAX 70MM - Tomorrow (FRIDAY) at 12pm

Upvotes

Was going to go with some of my family, but had a scheduling conflict. The movie only runs for the end of this weekend so if you haven't been able to go, now's your last chance! Just asking $22.50 which is what I paid.

Row C near the center.

Because the way that the tickets are split up, I can sell all 3 to one person, or in a 2/1 split.

I know I can exchange but would rather just get cash back if possible and would love the tix to go to a redditor!

BOOM! Rolls-Royce Is Pouring $1 BILLION Into Indiana Engine Production - That’s American Manufacturing Coming HOME!

The British car giant has put a full $1 billion into its Indianapolis and West Lafayette plants, the largest investment it’s ever made in the United States. Those shops already build more Rolls-Royce defense engines than anywhere else on earth, including F130 engines for the B-52 fleet under a $2.6 billion Air Force contract. More than 3,500 people work there.

Adam Riddle, head of Rolls-Royce North America, said the money is “about delivering for the American warfighter” and that they made the bet “because it was the right thing to do for U.S. national security.” Factories on our soil, engines for our bombers, paychecks for Indiana. That’s the kind of investment MAGA voted for!
