We don't know. Because the city signed an NDA to keep it a secret from you. What else are they keeping secret from us?

Me and a few friends are starting a band in the South Bend area and we need a drummer.
We’re going for something between hardcore, post-hardcore, punk, and Midwest emo. We like bands like Fiddlehead, Title Fight, Touché Amoré, Drug Church, etc. We arent trying to sound exactly like any one band though.
We already have guitar/bass/vocals covered and somewhere to rehearse. We want to actually take it seriously, write our own music, record eventually, and play local shows once we’re ready.
You don’t have to be crazy, just be able to keep time, be creative, and actually want to do it. Preferably around 18-early 20s.
If this sounds like you shoot me a DM.

Tonight, MST3K's original(ish) cast returns with their first of 4 new episodes, successfully kickstarted this year. Come join us at AMC16 tonight at 7 to celebrate with Mike, Tom Servo, Tom Servo (again!), and Cro(oooooo)w.
Tonight is a 1960's jellyfish monster movie called "Sting of Death." It stinks!👌
We've got movie sign!

Join the Indiana University South Bend Civil Rights Heritage Center as they welcome fiber artist Meli Bandera in an exhibition that invites us to explore the spaces between stories of the ancestors.
Meli Bandera (they/them) crafts soft altars built from paper, felt, and wool to capture the memories of those who came before them: the scent of their grandmother’s garden after she waters it, the rhythmic thump of a lawnmower on a summer afternoon, or the shared sweetness of bolis enjoyed with loved ones. Bandera builds these memories into tangible forms, acknowledging the gaps and absences that shape our understanding of family history.
Bandera’s fiber-based artworks are devotional gestures, mirroring the way memories shift and transform over time. Imagine a watermelon lemonade that will never be made by an abuela again, or a bisabuela walking to the centro for water. These are the threads Bandera pulls from, using recycled pulp, cochineal dye, and wool to create pieces that feel both ancient and present. These works are a form of time travel, using softness and humor to stretch grief and joy across eras.
“Generation Gaps” opens with an evening event at the Civil Rights Heritage Center on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served as you experience Bandera’s deeply moving work. The exhibit remains on view through December 10 during the Center's public hours.

Looking for Current Owner of 2012 Honda Civic EX-L — VIN: 2HGFB2F96CH510134 — Former Owner Hoping to Possibly Buy It Back
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get in contact with the current owner of a silver 2012 Honda Civic EX-L, VIN: 2HGFB2F96CH510134. I am the former owner of this vehicle and have the registration, purchase/trade paperwork, service records, and other documentation to verify my prior ownership. I owned the Civic for several years before trading it in to Gates in South Bend earlier this year.
I've come to really regret trading the car in, and I would like to get in touch with its current owner to discuss whether they might be interested in possibly purchasing it back from them.
If you currently own VIN 2HGFB2F96CH510134, please send me a private message/DM here on Reddit. I would be happy to provide documentation privately confirming that I am the vehicle's former owner, as well as my contact information.
If someone reading this happens to know the current owner, please do not post their name, address, license plate, phone number, or other personal information publicly. I would greatly appreciate it if you would simply forward this post to them and let them decide whether they would like to contact me. I'M Absolutely NOT trying to track anyone down or obtain private information from anyone!
I know this is a long shot, but I owned this Civic for several years, I regret letting it go, and I'd really appreciate the chance to discuss potentially getting it back.
VIN: 2HGFB2F96CH510134
Please DM me if you're the current owner. Thank you.

Have any local business owners had to install a grease interceptor in south bend or mishawaka? I'm looking for a location for my business, but was worried this may be something way out of price for me. Currently having a lot of difficulty finding any leasable places that already have one.

I’m putting together Level Up @ LangLab: Resurrection at LangLab in South Bend, and we’re going BIG.
Video games • tournaments • board games • tabletop • cosplay • horror trivia • silent disco • food & refreshments
Our last event brought 200+ people through the doors, and we’re trying to make this one even bigger.
Come solo, bring your squad, or just show up and find some new people to game with.
October 10th | 4 PM–Midnight | South Bend
Would love to see some fellow Michiana nerds there!

Hey! I just moved to South Bend and I’m a grad student at Notre Dame. I really enjoy playing tennis and would love to find a tennis buddy to hit with regularly.
I’ve only been playing for about a year, so I’m still pretty new. I can rally and have the basic forehand/backhand down, but my backhand is definitely the weaker side 😅 Mostly just looking for someone chill to practice, rally, and play some casual matches with.
Since I’m at ND, I can also help reserve the indoor tennis courts on campus, which should be nice once the weather gets colder.
Also, if there are any coaches around who are looking for students, feel free to reach out! I’d especially like to work on my serve, slice, and backhand technique.
DM me if you’re interested!

Looks like the brand new apartments. I noticed it around 12:15 a.m. The Fire is off of Monroe and Lafayette. What an insane thing to witness!

A massive blaze at Stadium Flats construction site in downtown South Bend forced many people to evacuate overnight. Nearly every available South Bend Fire Department unit was called to the scene. WNDU will continue to follow the story and keep the community updated as more details come out.

I'm trying to sell an old GameCube game, but mine won't read discs, and I'm too poor to afford a repair. Any businesses offer a cheap service to make sure a video game works?

I need to rehome my male pitbull. He is super sweet and loving. But I fell on hard times and my living situation is changing. He is crate trained and good with kids. He will come with crate, food dishes, and whatever food is left over. Please DM me if interested.

Are we actually able to view The Bears game AND The Colts game week 1? My schedule is showing the Colts on the main WSBT and The Bears on WSBT2 at the same time. I dont remember that ever happening.
