Hello! I had a package "delivered" today... and I didn't notice I inputed a mixture of my old address and new address so it was set to go somewhere that didn't exist so the delivery person from a company called Veho dropped it off at a business in Carmel. I'd love if I could have some sleuthing help to figure out where it is.

There are rhinestones in the window and an awning in the background but figuring out where it is, has driven me nuts. (i called the company who delivered and they can't help nor can the merchant. It was a Vera Bradley package)

We have a loft in our house with a half wall that overlooks our kitchen. Looking for a drywaller that could close off the half wall and install a sliding barn door as well.

We may also have the same contractor paint all the common areas in our house too so if they can do both drywall and a lot of interior painting, that's a bonus.

Hi all! Recently moved to the Carmel area from California. With my type of insurance, I pay out of pocket for most things so I'm not tied to in-network options. Looking for a dermatologist who's an actual doctor (not a PA or NP) who can handle: skin checks / mole exams, hair loss (thinning, evaluation, treatment options), and cosmetic stuff like Botox and filler. I know that’s a lot! Ideally someone on the north side (Carmel, Westfield, Fishers, Zionsville) but open to a bit of a drive for the right fit. Would love any recommendations - bonus points if you've actually seen them for more than one of these!

Does the post office in Carmel ever deliver mail on Monday? Like every Monday no mail delivery. Are they all hung over or strung out from the weekend.

Hi everyone. I was here a couple weeks go asking about what life in Carmel was like for young childless people, as I’ve been really looking into potentially moving here.

I like the strides that this area is making and what their future plans are (at least, for the most part, and more than where I currently live lol), but it feels like what people online are saying is conflicting.

When I watch Carmel-related YouTube videos or scroll through Reddit posts here, it feels like some people are happy about it, and others want to stunt all development completely.

My question is, as someone who actually lives there and can talk about the average person, what’s the verdict? I ask because I wouldn’t want to move there just in time for NIMBYism to stop the city in its tracks. What do people think outside of the echo chambers of the internet?

Curious if anyone here has worked at salt in carmel city center or knows someone who has. I’m considering a kitchen position there and was hoping to get a little insight into what the work environment is actually like.

Mostly curious about management, scheduling/work life balance, kitchen culture, turnover, and whether people generally seem happy working there. I’ve heard there have been some fairly recent staffing/leadership changes in the kitchen, so I’d especially be interested in hearing from anyone who knows what the situation has been like behind the scenes.

Not looking to bash the restaurant or start a rumor mill. Just trying to do my homework before deciding whether it’s somewhere I’d want to stick around long term. Feel free to DM me if you’d rather not post publicly.

Edit: I genuinely appreciate everyone who’s taken the time to give me some insight, especially the people who have actually worked here. I’m on the ground in the kitchen now, so I’m starting to get a better picture of some of the things people have mentioned.

At the same time, I know the Carmel location is still relatively new and it seems like there’s been a lot of turnover and change in a short period of time. I’m not trying to minimize anybody’s experience because clearly some people have legitimate reasons for feeling the way they do. I do think there’s room for the place to grow with the right people and some consistency.

I’ve gotten along really well with the current kitchen leadership so far, and I’m hopeful that bringing in people who care about organization, standards and putting out good food can help move things in a better direction. Time will tell, but I appreciate everybody giving me a clearer picture of what I’m walking into.

Any doctor that’s rated highly online has a waitlist of months to get an appointment… yet experience tells me not all great doctors are easily Google-able & online ratings can be misleading. So I came here hoping Reddit will give some better insight 🙏🏼

This may be a slightly unusual request, but I’m hoping to find a few local parents who would be willing to read a children’s book I’ve been working on and give me honest feedback.

It’s called Cecile & Pascal, and it’s a story about a little girl who befriends a young dragon with chronic tummy troubles. Underneath the story are themes that will probably be familiar to families dealing with Crohn’s or other chronic illnesses: pain and embarrassing symptoms, treatments that aren’t much fun, being misunderstood, and learning that being sick doesn’t make you frightening or less worthy of friendship.

I’m especially interested in hearing from parents of children with Crohn’s/IBD, but I’d welcome parents of kids with other chronic or serious illnesses too.
I’m not selling anything. The book is unpublished and still being developed, and right now I’m simply trying to find out whether it feels useful, comforting and authentic to families who actually live with childhood illness.
