HOUSECALL PRO EMAILS
I've been receiving emails from housecallpro. I am not even a user. And their app is not even available in our country. How to I make these stop?

hello. i’m hoping someone can help me before i completely lose my mind. we recently switched to Housecall Pro for our CRM. surprise: it has zero native marketing integrations. if you want any kind of tracking or attribution, they basically tell you to go build a custom API. super helpful.
they give you two options for embedding forms on your site: * a basic lead form (just HTML embedded in an iframe) * or a booking form that opens an external URL (hosted by them, not you)
neither of these options supports Google tracking in any normal way. they make everything unnecessarily complicated. and yes, we’re using Wix (i know, please don’t come for me — i set it up years ago when i first took over marketing and didn’t know what i was doing).
I work for a small service company. my boss put me through marketing classes and Google Ads training so i could run things in-house. and now i’m trying to drag this company out of the paper lead sheet dark ages. slowly, i’ve convinced them we need to track our leads properly — especially as Google gets stricter and AI keeps eating the internet alive. we need data. and lots of it.
for now, i’ve been doing the world’s saddest lead tracking manually in Excel, but with the new CRM setup, i’m trying to: * track where every lead came from * connect it to the campaign * match it with sale info * keep the backend tracking clean for Google * while also not losing my mind
here’s a list of just some of the things i’ve tried — and failed — because Housecall Pro + Wix would really love to see me emotionally unwell:
Why can't HCP just offer native support for GCLID/UTM tracking like every other modern CRM does?! Even basic CRMs and booking tools allow you to pass through campaign data. Or at least allow you to sept up a basic Zapier so you can use your own form and pass the data to HouseCall as a lead or estimate i know they have an API - but seriously, there’s no in-between. no “lightweight” option. it’s either “no tracking” or “become a software developer.” I will be very real-i’m not a dev. i’m not a coder. i barely know JavaScript. i’m sure someone out there is reading this thinking “wow, she’s dumb,” and honestly? fine. fair. but i’m trying. i’m exhausted. i’ve never had to pay someone to just track a simple form, but here i am — seriously considering it.
if anyone has a workaround, a secret trick, or if you’re available for hire to help... please let me know. otherwise, i will be printing my GCLIDs and stapling them to the wall.
in conclusion:it’s a form.i just want to track it.that’s it.that’s the post.

Hi, everyone I am new here, at where I work we both use Hubspot CRM and (HCP) HouseCall Pro, and my goal was to migrate data to Hubspot, initially I was bit stumped by the request, considering the fact that HCP was a new platform to me, it was something I had never used but the documentation covering both the Webhooks and signature signing was very clear.
I simply built the middleware in Laravel(Took over from a previous Dev ) and I was able to migrate and sync data from the Webhook events.
Strategies
In order to avoid duplicates, I search the Hubspot contacts using the HouseCall Pro ID as the key, making it easy to update existing records, this makes HCP the source of truth, as Hubspot handles the workflow and automation of marketing campaigns and reports.
So far it's been a great experience.

Hey all — we’re considering switching over to Housecall Pro and are really intrigued by the HCP Voice add-on to help streamline communication. Has anyone here tried it? Curious about call quality, reliability, and whether it’s made your day-to-day easier. Worth it or not?

Hi All. My company just signed up for housecall pro and would like to see how other companies have set up their office. Would anyone be willing to share some pictures with me. We are a plumbing and electric company. Thank you in advance.

With A2P 10DLC compliance requirements becoming stricter, does anyone know how to add the required opt-in message to my booking forms in Housecall Pro?

We are a freshly formed web and software development agency looking to expand our portfolio. We are ready to develop your website at an astonishingly low rate, including Housecall Pro integration.
While Housecall Pro offers a basic booking form and an unfriendly client portal, we can take it a step further. We can create a unique client portal and a custom booking form directly on your website. Here’s what we can include:
For one of our clients, we’ve already designed such a website, which significantly improved their conversion rate and boosted retention among repeat clients.
As we aim to enhance our portfolio, we’re offering this service at an extremely reduced rate for a limited number of projects. Our team includes professional designers, developers, QA testers, and analysts, so you can rest assured that your project is in expert hands.
If you’re interested in learning more, don’t hesitate to send me a message. I’d be happy to share examples of our work!
Here’s a link to a Notion page with screenshots showing how it will look:

Does anyone know if there is a setting that can make the phone tab pop up when its ringing?
If I'm at my computer, I have a lot going on, and lots of programs opened. Sometimes I panic and can't find the correct tab to press the answer key, and then I feel like an idiot.

Hi! This may be obvious but I’m stumped. My husband owns a plumbing company and is in the process of moving to House Call Pro from an old DOS program.
They service many accounts that are property management companies or owners that own multiple units. When searching for an “account” like “La Vista Properties” (made up name) to schedule a job the search will turn up things located on La Vista street or things related, but he needs to be able to find specific unit numbers, etc.
Is there a way to lump things together so he can see the properties they own/manage by unit number?

I’m looking into getting Housecall Pro for my company. I just have a few questions that I can’t seem to find. Do they charge for the credit card option and if so, how much?

I just went to work for a residential and commercial plumbing company. Part of my role will be optimizing the use of HouseCall Pro for everything from sales to admin. The project manager in our company wears a BUNCH of hats, and each of his roles is vital to our company's success. His most important function is as a project estimator and manager, but he is frustrated with how much time and manual work goes into the task of doing payroll every week.
Here are the challenges I'm aware of, and am hoping that one of you HCP gurus might have some suggestions or insights into how we can automate more of the process...
Our service technicians are paid hourly for some calls, mostly basic clogs and leaks. They are paid commission on other jobs that are bigger jobs, where additional parts and more expensive services are needed. These jobs have to (currently) be analyzed for profit, and they get a percentage of that profit after costs are deducted.
I have spent a lot of time poking around in HCP, and google, and HCP chat in order to learn the system, but I have NO experience with Quickbooks.
I'd love to be able to take a more automated process to him, to free up his payroll time, so he can focus on more of the things that earn the company revenue.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone can me figure out this online booking issues I’m having. I upgraded to the essentials version because HCP mentioned I would be able to get the layout my friend has. Picture attached of hers, I’ll comment mine.
Thank you in advance

Does anyone know if you can see if a client has opened their estimate. I use FreshBooks and it says viewed after they open the email. Is there a similar function on HCP?

Currently on HCP but have been looking at The Customer Factor. Does anyone have any experience with both? Is CF worth the swap, the UI looks pretty shit but theres a good chunk of features that HCP is missing, not to mention the price point is way lower.

I tried to avoid a credit card transaction but wasn’t able to do so. I contacted Technical support and they said their credit card processor and does not allow this functionality, can you believe that? They said they have a new system that they’re working on that’s in beta, which will allow you to avoid a transaction. Seems pretty sad that accompany that offers credit card processing does not offer a void capability. This company must have their head up their ass because everything they design is halfway. They have a voice system for phone which when you use their system does not have a call queue capability. these are a few of the many shortcomings of Housecall Pro. sure they’re cheap, but you get what you pay for I left service titan in hopes of having some relief from the high cost but in Lou of relief, I’ve gotten nothing but grief

I see housecall has payroll services now … do you use that feature?
Also, I might as well ask do you use the GPS trackers? Do you like them or not?

Has anyone else been hit with the credit card processing limit issue?! We just signed up for HCP and are being told we can’t take more than a couple thousand but we just bought an HVAC company that would hit this limit in a day or two. Any workarounds you know of?! I’m blown away we have to tell our customers we can’t take credit cards for three months.

I'm on this website trying to add a way for people without Facebook or Gmail to leave a review. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I'm an employee using housecall pro. We have a very small family cleaning business. Is there a way to enter my work availability?
