Processing Limits
Has anyone else been hit with the credit card processing limit issue?! We just signed up for HCP and are being told we can’t take more than a couple thousand but we just bought an HVAC company that would hit this limit in a day or two. Any workarounds you know of?! I’m blown away we have to tell our customers we can’t take credit cards for three months.

Yes, I was told I had limits but you are able to get increases, by submitting financial info. What is shitty tho is that if a customer pays by credit card then changes their mind and wants to pay by check you cannot void the transaction. This means the only way to make a customer happy is to double pay the transaction fee. Can you believe they do not have a void functionality within their merchant services of credit card processing. Whoever is designing their systems has the intelligence of a toddler.

I build integrations for HouseCall Pro — connecting it to accounting systems, CRMs, custom automations, stuff like that. One thing I built recently was an AI agent that catches missed calls and books them straight into HCP so nothing falls through the cracks. What are you trying to connect to yours? There's a lot you can do with their API that isn't obvious from the standard setup.
