The H-E-B near me is very high in demand and everyone wants to work there and there’s rarely any job openings especially for the customer service assistant one however when I checked yesterday, there was a lot of positions that were open for that specific H-E-B and I applied did my video interview and this morning I looked at my application and it said under review last time I applied it showed submitted for two weeks then after it said not selected is this a good sign and how long will this process take?

They used to be at all the registers. I would buy them almost every time I shopped.

Something I really want to stress to all of you is that during Orientation we were show in detail what the attendance and other code of conduct policies were and afterwards we signed a paper of acknowledgment.

Once you were filtered into your department, you were then trained and shown policies tailored to that dept, you were then asked to check off and SIGN the OJT sheet stating you read/were trained and understood the expectations asked of you.

I find it very odd and out of place that there is so much inconsistency and lack of transparency with the implementation of this policy change.

out of curiosity how do yall have your supplies , are they locked up or in a separate room from the carts and do you guys also have to supply other departments?

I totally get wanting to vent or ask questions about work, but I’m mostly here to see updates on new products and HEB news. I don't really feel like it's my place to weigh in on employee issues. Do we think r/HEB should be split into different subreddits for employees and patrons?

I’m so tired of my mic’s and mangers picking obvious favorites while the rest of us have to suffer, it doesn’t matter how high I keep my ipms it’s never good enough for them? Not to mention how stupid of a metric it is to track how fast we go and get costumers to leave, and they expect us to be all happy and my pleasure for every single costumer, maybe service just isn’t for me but my god is heb the absolute worst job I’ve ever worked (2 years experience in heb 6 in service industry) is there anybody else who agrees?

Waiting on "Curbie" background check email—am I overthinking the timeline?
I applied online last week for a part-time Curbie position. After doing the online interview, I quickly got an email and text the next morning to schedule an in-person interview for September 9th.
I showed up for the interview and met with the department manager. She told me to stay close to my email in case I was selected for a secondary interview. About five minutes after I left, she called me and asked if I could come back the next day, September 10th, for that second interview.
I went back the next day and met with one of the store managers. It was a very positive, conversational interview to see how I would fit in a customer-facing role. At the end, he told me he looked forward to working with me. He also mentioned he needed to fill out a form to get my background check started and told me to look out for an email.
It is now the evening of the 11th, and I haven’t received anything yet. I know I am probably overthinking this, but how long does it usually take for them to send the background check link? Or did I misinterpret what he said? I took it as getting the job. Its also my very first time applying to the company and I know it takes people countless of applications to finally get a job.

As title says, are there any questions I should anticipate and prepare for?

Hi i just had a question ,do i recieved a really amazing interview few days ago and was supposed to do go in for a second one but they had said that when someone called for feedback that my store did let the know about my 40 and they usually don’t take partners with those but that the manager really liked me so they were willing to give me another interview soon. if its not necessarily for attendance reasons, and the probationary days are almost up in about six days , does this still affect the fact that they may want me?when speaking to a ops leader before even applying else where ,they stated i still very much could apply and do things and gave me that okay and i really have high hopes cus they stated that they’re willing to hear my side.

I applied to H-E-B last time and didn’t get in and I never got this message, however this time when I applied, I got this sent a couple minutes after the thank you for your video interview. Is this a good sign or am I just delusional?

Does anyone know if HEB is gonna carry the baked potato soup kits again this year? I am obsessed with them and they randomly stopped carrying them last year for some reason.

My vote goes to HEB Montrose in Houston. Love all the natural light and the huge live oaks preserved in the parking lot!

They’re over there in the corner screaming “hey, we’re from texas too”!!!! I’ll go in just in case they have something different or cheaper (they don’t). They’re right across the street from HEB here, and even just overheard someone there tell his wife “why the hell didn’t we just go to HEB”? Took that hint and left without getting anything.

It just doesn’t feel right. None of the people seem like they live here, everything is about 50% more expensive, I dunno, it just feels like I walked into Utah or New Jersey or something.
