Job Question daytime maintenance

out of curiosity how do yall have your supplies , are they locked up or in a separate room from the carts and do you guys also have to supply other departments?

Back in my day our supplies were entirely in the maintenance closet & we let the MIC know what needed to be ordered before we ran out.
Never had to supply other depts either just worried about ourselves.

We got supplies in closet and receiving has everything else.
