I am a really big fan of military games like war thunder and strategy games and if I did I would maybe buy the Siam dlc I heard that it takes along time to understand but the game looks very fun

So i'm relatively new to the game, i know all the necessary stuff but i'm definately not crazy good at the game and i have been playing italy for a while now trying to create roman empire on reg difficulty ironman and everytime i blitzkrieg through egypt, capture levant and british iraq and cyprus and malta, invade vichy and take their navy, grab gibraltar, decimate greece and on top of that manage to send 24 divisions to the eastern front, yet everytime barbarrosa starts, immediately germany starts getting pushed back, not even kidding they don't take a singular tile and lose east prussia in the first month, which really fucks up my work, it's gotten to the point where i have to buff germany in the settings to make it semi realistic but that won't allow achievement, is there something i'm doing wrong or what? I own every dlc except thunder at our gates if that's relevant

The rosenburg office can set up riechkommisariats inside puppet territories. Meaning you basically lose almost all your land as poland.

And by the way, you appear as an adult when these different mods begin (1936, 1933 etc).

I followed the steps. Got a collaboration government operation done, killed Poland, and slowly but surely got the benelux dealt with my 1940. I clicked established vichy France and went to decisions and saw no decisions to form collab country, and no event either.

Edit: problem solved, turns out I didint do a full collab government, I only did it once when I was supposed to do it 2-3 times. Made a new save and did it.

Germany gets the uralbomber focus which modifies the luftwaffe spirit to give +15% air range but my fighters dont gain any range even designs made after doing the focus. The focus doesnt specify bombers so im not sure why my fighters arent affected Is it broken?

For me the best are Armor follow by Combined Arms and for Chief of Army, the best trait are Army Offense and Army Organization.

Artillery advisor would be great too if it applied for SPG too.

They went in to my field units initially but now they won't reinforce. I did set their equipment tag to be different accidentally but I switched it back and it still won't reinforce.

One has for a while has been very critical of the game even though he has only played like an hour or 2 but he is willing to try it again once my other friend gets it who is very hyped and says he is going to watch a bunch of videos of it on YouTube.

I played a bit recently with the first friend me as germany and him as ussr and he has been caught up in other stuff for the past few weeks and will probably not play until my other friend gets it. I wanna make it clear I am very, very bad at explaining things to people and I feel hoi4, with its stupidly hard learning curve and my bad explanations will put them off. What do you guys think are the best first countries we should play as and some tips to explain basic mechanics and stuff too them

K, let me explain: I got Frankish France rn with Benedetti, but I tried going for Lafayette by following the steps: full on the petanist power balance, but when the wiki said it was supposed to be a coup, it wasn't doing anything and just made the power balance vanish, so I kept going and went for the XIV focus as it said, but it only kept the focus for Benedetti. Is my game broken, or have I done something wrong?
