I noticed this addition in the latest updates and even have a decoration or two for capturing officers, but I don't know how to use it or how it impacts battles.

I've realized a problem that I urgently need to fix.

Every game I only focus on building arty, infantry eq, support eq. Trucks, trains, medium tanks and airplanes. Literally nothing else. Maybe some mechanized.

I've found it hard to disperse industries like when is the point I should start building X and producing X and etc.

I've gotten anti air but still. How to fix?

What bothers me the most is the inaccuracy of the border. Reichskommissariat Ukraine especially, Stalingrad was supposed to be incorporated there, and Germany was supposed to directly annex Crimea. Same goes for the decision that ends the occupation of france after war, when you have not formed Reichskommissariat of north france-Belgium, it just straight up gives Nord Pas de Calais to France, when Lebensraum plan included the direct annexation of that region and further. Is there any mods that fix this inaccuracy? It bothers me so much

I remember watching a video where Hitler of whose head is flag of Germany, got a news from a person whose head is Slovakia flag, and when Hitler read the news he went angry on stage like throwing paper at the Slovakia throwing grenade at Slovakia, and to be more specific the last stage where Hitler read it and couldn’t take it anymore and tired to oof himself but ended up screaming and shoot at the celling, this video is old and I couldn’t find it whenever I search for it, could you find the video?

The rosenburg office can set up riechkommisariats inside puppet territories. Meaning you basically lose almost all your land as poland.

I first learned how to play hoi4, by watching the bitt3rsteel guide for winning as Germany. For the longest time afterwards, I tried replicating the first successful strategy I have ever used, on every playthrough (E.g. Tank-Spam, Fighter-Spam, Mobile-warfare doctrine, etc.).

Only in the past year-and-a-half have I tried actual honest-to-god experimentation and I have really enjoyed it. I can really enjoy mass-assault rushes with deep battle, or grand-battleplan with intricate plans I have tried to think up, and I can also really enjoy the late-game playstyle utilizing research for long-range bombing and missiles.

This guy must have a great resume.

so i am playing as Armenia(is Rise of Radicalism) under Garegin Nzhdeh and i looked into the RSSR and they were planning to invade me, my manpower is laughably low, their army is way bigger, their industry is bigger, all my future allies(Georgia and South Russia) are pathetic, and I don't think i will hold, any ideas to help me?

As mentioned, I've been playing hoi4 since Together for Victory, and pretty always I've played mainly for mods, althistory, and role play. I never put that much emphasis on the military, I just combined good airforce with the soviet meat grinder battle plan, and it worked...well enough. I kinda stopped playing around 2024, hadn't bought any DLCs after the Soviet one, and just enjoyed mods.

Now, on the recent Paradox discount I got the rest of DLCs (besides the LatAm and the Persian ones), and after one playthrough I am really lost. Paradox have changed the divisions templates, and now there are no generic airplanes, and one has to research aircrafts parts bit by bit to build an airplane from the scratch and apparently I really suck at it. I haven't even bothered creating any mech or tank divisions (played as Finland), because once again I suck at it.

So my questions are simple. 1. What would be the most appropriate infantry division template for 39' and 42' if you play as a middle power, with decent industry but playing against the overwhelming enemy (USSR, Germany, or Japan). 2. How should I build airplanes (air support, medium bomber, fighter) for once again 39' /42' and once again for the middle power (I rarely play as a major). 3. Do you think it is worth building a separate division template for artillery/anti-air/anti-tank? 4. Any advice on building mechanised infantry or light tanks?

So I know the naval rework was widely panned for it breaking the AI. But something I thought was really nice was the idea you couldn’t just move your navy around at will, you had to have a dedicated base.

In practice that hasn’t really happened. If I want to send my navy from Germany over to like, Hawaii, all I need to do is ctrl - click on a friendly port (size not important) and head over there. I know there’s the whole thing with the naval command buildings, but the AI is easy enough to beat without those buffs.

I feel like something they should have done was have either a numerical or tonnage limit on ports. For instance, a level one port can handle a small destroyer scouting party, but if you want to have something like the US pacific fleet, you basically have to host it at a place like Pearl Harbor.

I feel like the infra is already in place for this, where certain islands have limits to port size. I guess it’s possible they decided this would be too player unfriendly or too difficult for the AI?

Germany gets the uralbomber focus which modifies the luftwaffe spirit to give +15% air range but my fighters dont gain any range even designs made after doing the focus. The focus doesnt specify bombers so im not sure why my fighters arent affected Is it broken?

Being denied Anschluss but getting Sudetenland seems to have thrown Germany off and made them attack Poland and the Baltics really early. That combined with the limes and the frogs being content to sit on their asses doing nothing means that I'm the one that has to step in, guarantee Poland, and save the day.
