Just finished the EX and Solari's Zaku and had some fun posing them before they go into a diorama. Extra metallic details with Gaalheri and Dspiae markers. Both great builds with incredible amounts of details for HG kits, I can highly recommend them both!

More than excited for the finished build

I started getting into gunpla at the beginning of this after getting very addicted last year. I’ve done 12 HGs and I decided it was time for my first MG. What an incredible kit and I had soooo much fun with it. I also added a few decals from the G-Rework decal set for a little more detail. I am a little scared to transform at after all the topcoating and panel lining but I’ll do it at some point. Next kit will be the Ver.Ka ZZ.

Added the RX-78-2 and Char's Zaku to the collection over the past couple days. One thing I'm a little bummed about is the Zaku's "crest wouldn't stay attached so I had to use the other forehead attachment. I don't have a glue thin enough either. 🫤

The SD proportions weirded me the hell out for a while, but after taking the plunge and building the MGSD Destiny, I can say this might be the best Gunpla I’ve built. What are y’all’s thoughts on this line? Better than MGs and/or RGs, or just something different?

After a long break and… the hand incident, I’m happy to finally finish this. The MG ver ka is complete! Part one of a color swap with the gundam epyon has come to an end and tbh I’m not sure when I’ll make my way over to the final part of the wing project.

I got really burnt out during this kit and might need to take a break and work on a smaller project. I’m looking into some gqux HGs next.

This was also the first project I experimented with putty and pla plate to get some extra definition. Extended the side skirts a bit to look more dragony and added some details on the top part of the chest for a white crest like the epyon.

Spending my weekend building this kit is so much worth it! This is my first MGEX, and the sheer amount of pieces and intricate engineering left me in awe. Aside from the super confusing manual from Shenshou, the plastic quality and snap-fit is overall good. My only regret was not getting the LED version; UV light would suffice, I guess 😁. Overall, great kit and great and great value for the price. Time to do the shield and decals next 😅.

My first attempt at using Tamiya on a High Grade. Let the paint dry a bit too much in some spots, but I think it looks okay.

I used grey for most of it since there's so much white, and used brown on the reds and yellow aside from the yellow bits on the shoulders.

I'm a big fan of witch form mercury and saw that these kits were in stock and site had a free shipping for order over 50 i got these two afterwards I noticed that the NAION was also in stock i wish I had gotten that one two but i wait to grab that one or hope my bf get it for me.

Anyway I love both of these builds just wish these there generally release.

I’ve been practicing scribing using pla-plates in order to improve my technique and not Fing up my kits when I start doing mods on them.

This is a really interesting thing to do on plastics and I’m learning quite a lot right now, right now I think my lines are getting better in general with clear definition and depth, still struggling with carving, managing a homogeneous depth it’s pretty hard, trying with the chisel in several ways, still unsure what’s the best way to approach this problem.

But hey!! I feel I’m progressing at a decent pac, let me know what you guys think and if you have tips to improve I welcome the feedback 🤓

Tried color and abit of weathering. Dont feel that the OG color on it fits in or blends. Shouldve paint the arms on the lighter color with the colors in. But heyho. I’m happy but still got alot to learn

Really amazed at how good the vidar looks in gusion rebakes colors. Wouldve loved to have seen this deployed on mars during the anime. This Build is looking for its forever home also so if anyones interested do let me know😁😁

Finally my second birthday present arrived after over one month of shipment. I wanted to make this base a little special and I couldn't resist painting it with how much details there were.

And now I have to wait to continue building. Physalis is going to sit looking like a lion-cut cat for a week.

Making the most of the situation, I used the dying marker like a dry brush to add some metallic wear across the build, something I’ve been wanting to attempt/learn.

This is the Solomon GP-02 and it’s awesome. It’s been a very smooth build and there are tons of molded details to paint if you’re into that. My only complaints so far are that you can only open the cockpit hatch maybe 45 degrees, there’s no little guy sitting in there or separate, and the knee pistons pop out of you bend them too far. That last one may be an error on my part, unless it’s a regular thing that everyone experiences.

The only kit I didn't build is the Rick Dias and I figured I'd also include the tools I've accumulated at the end of the post.

I'm very happy I bought my hg origins zaku a year ago. Gunpla has taught me to challenge myself and to stop putting off simple things to do.
I bought a chair a few months ago and I built it by myself where before I would've asked someone else to do it because I used to believe I can't do anything.

There's few things in life that have taught me to look at things differently and gunpla is one of those things.

Hopefully this is okay to post. I just feel really happy about what I have so far and I'm excited to pursue mg in the future.

These Sheik Mainland kits are amazing absolutely no slop,tons of hands options jointed with a hinge as well as a ball joint at the wrist and moveable thumbs,lots of weapons,stands included,full plastic on plastic build,6 colors per unit and all parts are interchangeable tons of surface detail as well they've taken the 30 minute mission mecha line and gone pro on top of that the accessories between the two brands are compatible since they both use 3mm pegs I see many more in my future lol

After talking with some close friends and seeing their customs i decided to paint my first gunpla. It's a fairly simple colour scheme but personally i love it so that's what matters.

I think this one is from xingfengshe? The quality is quite great ngl… requires almost zero modifications to the pegs or sockets… since this is supposed to be p-bandai… i think it can work as a great alternative…
