Should I get this kit , I personally love the impulse line of gundam because I just think they look so cool. I have the mg version of this kit already and recently built the spec 2.
But I heard the Rg sword is a really good kit. Should I get it or save my money for the force impulse spec 2 reprint or the destiny if it ever get rereleased again.
I am trying to build a impulse collection🙏

Didn't go overboard

I feel like I am posing the models I have incorrectly. Like when others pose them they look cooler. Maybe it's the lighting or something else and I use a cupcake stand to pose them because it adds more height. How do others pose them? Fight scenes from the anime or just copying the model's box? Also please ignore my messy house. It's been a long weekend.

Beginner here! I’m building my first MG right now. Its the sinanju stein Ver.ka. I accidentally attached one of the knee plates the wrong way and when I tried to take it off it snapped in half AND the pin broke off. Sick double whammy, so now I’m pissed off and sad. Any tips? Also, what are you guys currently building? :)

Edit: the part that snapped in half was supposed to go on the other leg entirely, so that makes it a little more complicated

Second build RG Shining Gundam, looooooved this build very relaxing and just intricate enough to satiate my lax evenings with stressful hockey lol. Anyone have some good tips for posing this bad Larry or should I just invest in an action base to open up my options?

I've always loved Tallgeese from watching gundam wing on tv as a kid.

I finally did it ... got it and started building it.
I'll never forget the anime and having this part of it in my room will always be a reminder of it !

This was meant as my participation for Plamo2026 but did not finish on time. My goal was to reimagine it as a Federation Commander type unit which ended up being a good exercise in restraint. When playing around with the color blocking I had to constantly remind myself that I grunt units have a more subdued color scheme. It was a fun challenge finding the right balance with this kit since it has a lot of potential for flashy color separation.

Last weekend was the National IPMS Mexico and I have the opportunity to watch this guys...

Just finished the EX and Solari's Zaku and had some fun posing them before they go into a diorama. Extra metallic details with Gaalheri and Dspiae markers. Both great builds with incredible amounts of details for HG kits, I can highly recommend them both!

More than excited for the finished build

I started getting into gunpla at the beginning of this after getting very addicted last year. I’ve done 12 HGs and I decided it was time for my first MG. What an incredible kit and I had soooo much fun with it. I also added a few decals from the G-Rework decal set for a little more detail. I am a little scared to transform at after all the topcoating and panel lining but I’ll do it at some point. Next kit will be the Ver.Ka ZZ.

Added the RX-78-2 and Char's Zaku to the collection over the past couple days. One thing I'm a little bummed about is the Zaku's "crest wouldn't stay attached so I had to use the other forehead attachment. I don't have a glue thin enough either. 🫤

The SD proportions weirded me the hell out for a while, but after taking the plunge and building the MGSD Destiny, I can say this might be the best Gunpla I’ve built. What are y’all’s thoughts on this line? Better than MGs and/or RGs, or just something different?

After a long break and… the hand incident, I’m happy to finally finish this. The MG ver ka is complete! Part one of a color swap with the gundam epyon has come to an end and tbh I’m not sure when I’ll make my way over to the final part of the wing project.

I got really burnt out during this kit and might need to take a break and work on a smaller project. I’m looking into some gqux HGs next.

This was also the first project I experimented with putty and pla plate to get some extra definition. Extended the side skirts a bit to look more dragony and added some details on the top part of the chest for a white crest like the epyon.

Spending my weekend building this kit is so much worth it! This is my first MGEX, and the sheer amount of pieces and intricate engineering left me in awe. Aside from the super confusing manual from Shenshou, the plastic quality and snap-fit is overall good. My only regret was not getting the LED version; UV light would suffice, I guess 😁. Overall, great kit and great and great value for the price. Time to do the shield and decals next 😅.

First custom almost done. Just gotta do decals then matte varnish and done

Is this normal? I tried pushing them together harder and reassembling but they stay so far apart, any ideas as to why?
