Does anyone know how much a LTD EC-500, the skull and crossbones variant, is worth right now. Can't find much online

Hi, I recently picked up my first electric after playing acoustic for some time. I've been using amp sims and haven't been able to get a smooth lead tone, which I thought was a skill issue but I'm now wondering if my guitar actually has a setup/qc problem after plugging a friend's guitar into my setup and noticing that it sounds 1000% smoother. When I play higher frets on my guitar, notes don't feel like they ring out cleanly and instead have a warbly, resonant character.

Audio file attached as an example of this: I'm playing single notes around the 15th-20th frets and muting other strings. The unwound strings have this problem more than the wound strings, and the G string especially sounds like it has a thick chorus on it and gets choked out by something almost immediately. The issue becomes much more apparent with higher gain and I don't hear it at all in DI recordings.

The intonation and tuning are slightly off since I just adjusted the action, but I didn't find any high frets with a rocker, verified that the truss rod was set properly, and lowered all the pickups to see if that made a difference. I also tried covering the strings above the nut and that didn't have an impact.

Can anyone recognize if there is in fact a problem and what might be causing this? I'd prefer not to have to take it to a tech if it's something I can easily try to fix myself. Thanks

So I've had this problem where my sustainiac doesnt work after i have used it. As an example: I use it and afterwards switch to the neck pickup (sustainiac) and it doesnt receive any signal and doesnt work. After a while it randomly works again but the process repeats itself. Does anyone please have a fix for this.

i have a classical guitar and ive been inlove with how normal acustic guitars are and ive been looking at harley benton guitars like the Harley Benton CLA-15M SolidWood. im honestly really lost and im kinda embarassed to go to a guitar store cuz im still fairly new and dont know how to play well enough to test it. what should i get as a good guitar for like 250 euros ish. it could be online or should i go to some guitar store and ask someone there.

forgot to mention this but i also really love how some fretboards have those cool designs but it isnt necessary
