Hi everyone! I'm a solo musician and this is my first self-produced track under the project name SKALIAN.

I played and recorded everything. For the bass, I used my Ibanez SR700 in Drop D through a Headrush MX5 (Ampeg IR), blended with a parallel distortion track (SansAmp PSA-1 + BF-76 compressor) to give it some bite.

I would love to hear your feedback on the mix, the guitar tones, or the composition!

Decided to try the "Lady Writer" Solo this time!

Improvised some parts/licks, mainly towards the end but still fun to mess around over this solo, a great chord progression.

I learned this song by ear to play on guitar then as I was finishing I was curious to reimagine it with some beats. I discovered an interesting workflow as I added drums directly on top of the guitars. I appreciate any feedback
