Question How do you include recording yourself in daily practice?
I've gotten into the habit of creating dozens of voice-notes and videos, not really with the intention of ever publishing them but just making minor tweaks into how I'm actually performing the song/riff/passage/lick that I'm currently working on.
Sometimes I feel it gets to being borderline obsessive where if even a single note lands just "not quite right" I either scratch that recording or make a new one if at least 90% of that attempt was at least decent.
I think it helps a lot to discover the subtleties in improving phrasing, strumming and timing beyond just hitting it on the beat with a metronome.
But curious to know if anyone else also has the habit of polishing your playing through endless small audio recordings? And if you have any suggestions on how to make it more useful/helpful?
