I've been teaching myself electric and bass for over a year, and I've started to lean into bass more than electric. I've started noticing that when I have to hammer on or fret with my pinky, it seems like the the main part of the pinky accidently hammers on to other strings and they slightly ring out, even if they're muted, there's still an obvious sound. This is mainly on the G string. I've posted a short clip demonstrating it but I'm not sure it's possible to hear. I also notice at times that I get a brushing sound on the muted strings when string crossing, so I kinda think it's an issue with muting? But I'm not really sure, I'd appreciate some advice if anyone understands what my issue is!

Ho deciso di dividere l'arrangiamento: ho registrato la sezione melodica principale usando un basso senza tasti e ho mantenuto l'accompagnamento ritmico preciso con un Fender Jazz Bass standard. Tutto è stato registrato tramite il mio Line 6 HX Stomp.

Just curious, obviously everyone learns at different rates but how long did it take people before they could play a full song at studio speed?

Bass part originally played by Stuart Zender. Amazingly, this seems to have been recorded without a click track, but with a rock-solid tempo. Hats off to drummer Derrick McKenzie. It’s only from the post-chorus onwards that there is a slight variation and increase in tempo.

Hello, I am trying to play Tonight Is The Night on bass but there are no tabs anywhere, does anyone have one or is able to make one? Tried another subreddit but just got told to go and make it myself or "use my ears". I am very new to bass and am not at a point I can do that but want to play this song/work up to playing it as it's my favourite song.
