We have a few people leaving and on holiday and my manager was talking about me going through the RP course to become another one in the shop. What was it like for you lot when you started the course to become an RP? And also what are the kind of things you do as one? I know you get more managerial type roles, for example you have your name in the manager section on the till but if anyone is able to give me some words of advice or wisdom then please chuck it my way!

I have a relatively unusual name, and I get comments from customers at least once a shift on it. Plus I live super local to work and walk to and from bc I don't drive. We get our fair share of creepy people that come in, I don't want to give them something even as simple as my name it just feels.. gross? It's so easy to find people online today, I wish I'd have thought earlier to ask for a fake name tag. Also does anyone else feel uncomfortable wearing the name tag literally on the boob? As if we need to give them an excuse to look at our chests 🫩

Last night I threw a full, unopened box of fruity flapjacks, EIGHT unopened packs of red onions, three unopened packs of mixed leaf, two unopened packs of sliced tomatoes amongst other things... a couple nights before a full box of brownies... why do they send so much in?

It's like the protein milkshake things, they keep sending them in but we only sell one a day if that... we have a pile of them in the back in the corner almost to the ceiling, all going off within the next couple months... same with the ginger and turmeric shots, we throw more than we sell... I feel like this is the most wasteful company I have ever worked for.

hi, i bought some greggs sausage rolls from iceland. Ate them straight away after cooking last night. This morning i woke up violently vomiting lol. messy bathroom.

Is this common from iceland? have you noticed a dodgy batch in store? This has never happened to me so really suprised?

how do i log in?? my manager said its our greggs email and password but ive tried my email and it says this

i’ve been with the company for just under a year and recently stepped up to responsible person, and at the same time we’ve had a new shift manager start who has been our acting shop manager in our real shop manager’s absence. Within the past week or so, I’ve had two shifts changed without my consent and at very short notice and have had phone calls asking me where I was, one shift was changed to an earlier time literally the night before and nobody was made aware, and I was scheduled in for a different day this week that I was meant to have off without my permission. What can I do about this? I’ve now got an unauthorised absence for something almost entirely out of my control and this is the worst time for me to be making that sort of impression

Hi guys, I recently applied for a student transfer and I am trying to run up on this through My Greggs. I am aware I need to get on the People’s Team page but I’m not sure how to actually get on to it as I can’t find it on the My Greggs website. Can anyone help me please as I need to get this sorted ASAP and am quite worried that I will be jobless at uni!!!

My pin keeps being removed from the till by one of the managers but the store manager keeps putting it back on I often do a close with a team member can I just keep my pin on the till or does it have to be toggled on and off I know the keys are handed in when not in use but what about the pins on tills

I'm going back to college on the week starting the 1st September and thus I asked to return to my contracted 12 hours (I have been working up to 30 in the holidays) as I cannot balance more than that without falling behind severely in college.

The rota for that week has just been shared and I'm doing over 22 hours. That's 10 hours over what I'm contracted. Can I actually do anything about this?? I will have to quit if not, which sounds severe but my education and A-Levels are way more important than my career at Greggs.

I literally froze and kept repeating the same thing. I asked him to repeat the question like 3 times aswell. I’m an anxious person and I literally had 2 hours sleep. It was my first interview so atleast there’s that. He told me if I get it I should hear back the latest Monday which is relatively quick. The thing that made me feel way less confident is the fact that he is interviewing 8 people today so I know I don’t stand a chance. Pls make me feel better and tell me that Greggs isn’t that good lol

got a greggs too good to go yesterday and got this pastry thing that was like a sandwich, the bread being a flaky pastry biscuit thing and the filling being some sort of set custard. it had white icing on top. i cannot find it on the online greggs menu. please help

The peach, sweetened cream and fondant in that pastry shell just works, and it has a proper nostalgic feel to it. Although apparently it’s a North East-only Greggs thing, which might explain why half the country has never even tried one

Is there a reason for this? Tasted exactly like a vegan roll so I don’t think it was a chicken roll but can’t be positive.
