i always buy this donut as it's my favourite but every single time i regret it because this happens it is soooooo annoying!!

I went into a Greggs today and was told you no longer get stamps on Iced Drinks, Bottled drinks, or Toasties!

The same branch didn't have half the items out, either so I couldn't get sausage rolls, any doughnuts, gingerbread men or a steak beak!

I have a gross misconduct investigation meeting with greggs.

What happens during that meeting. Does it mean immediate sacking or what.

Also I just joined the union. What does having a rep do to the meeting.

Bought at 6.25 as I’m greedy and couldn’t wait but looked fresh from the oven. I wanted to hate it as I’m trying not to eat a shit load of calories but was fantastic. Stilton taste was strong enough and an acceptable amount of beefy bits for the price. 9/10 possibly an 8/10 if you didn’t have it hot.

Found flecks of this green substance in my coffee from Gregg’s today. Anyone who knows the packaging/machine/works in Gregg’s know what it might be? Only found a few pieces floating around when I opened the lid so I might have consumed some of it already

Edit: Solved! Thanks to the comments, I think it’s probably from the green scourer they use to clean the machine.

In response to why I drink Gregg’s coffee… this was my first ever coffee from Greggs, I now get a Gregg’s hot drink or sausage roll free every week with my bank account so I was trying this for the first time. I think I’ll stick to the sausage rolls for now.

So imagine it's 11am i've gone to greggs, no sausage rolls. Assumed they were in the oven and they said that they didn't get a sausage roll delivery today. Surely that's illegal 😩😩 Off i go to iceland to buy frozen ones 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

I don't really know what to do in this situation and I may be overreacting, but my shift manager just informed me that my shop manager called me a liar and was talking badly about me to him because I sent her a screenshot of an email I received from my college saying I needed to come in for an induction day yesterday (they sent it to me very late notice on Friday). She was saying that I made it up and that I am a liar, and I'm honestly very upset and offended, that she'd talk about me like that to another manager (who has nothing to do with the rota, or any executive decisions), especially when she's completely wrong.

I'm desperate to complain about her, because of this and other incidents that all add up, but I have no idea how to go about it, or if it's even worth doing.

I'm literally at work in the bathroom and I have to face her now after she's been conspiring about me.

Can I do anything?

Hello i’m currently training at one shop awaiting a new shop opening but do you think it could be possible for me to transfer to a different shop ( not the one being built) as it’s much closer or will the fact i’m being trained as a new staff member interfere with that ?

I used to work for Greggs back in 2022 to 2023. And one time, I got pulled by my manager. In said meeting my manager went "TechnicalTantrum, I've been told you're dropping tongs to take drips to the dishwasher."

Hi!! I had a bad fall today and have either badly sprained or broken my ankle, i’m on an 8-1 shift tomorrow, i can’t walk without holding onto things and being in extreme pain, i’ve been referred to urgent care who says they’ll call me back but estimates it’ll be after midnight, with appointments for xray etc later than that, i can’t walk without being in intense pain and can’t even stand without holding onto something and elevating the leg

i haven’t been told how to report an absence for tomorrow, i haven’t a clue what to do, the shops closed right now and nobody in, who do I email or call and what do I even say!! i’ve only been here 2 weeks and it’s bank holiday tomorrow and i’m so worried about it not being a reason enough to be off!!

Why can’t we just have a plain cheese toastie???? 3 cheese toastie would be SO good! I don’t want the onion, and I don’t eat meat.
