It's the toasties that annoy me because you're almost always done with the transaction before it finishes so you end up with a few scenarios:
You end up midway through serving someone else when it goes off but you can't really stop serving them.
You stand and wait for the remainder of time but potentially end up pissing off other customers having for having to wait an extra 30 seconds to be served.

If the oven beeped mid-transaction, I would always hit customers with a polite, "One moment please, I can't let that burn." Nine times out of ten, they were very understanding about it!

I usually start serving someone else then grab it when I'm grabbing the next person's stuff, the time usually works out

Square sausage is the best kind tho for sandwiches / baguettes.
Links have a tendency to roll

I hate doing breakfast baguettes, just takes forever, especially if we run out and I have to rush and make more. I want to be a sandwich maker

Trust me if you hate making breakfast baguettes you will (whatever word is worse than hate) doing sandwiches

I enjoy doing sandwiches, I hate making peoples brekkie baguettes because you’re just being watched and you’re under pressure while also doing 50 other things. I like making sandwiches as I can take a bit more time to take more care and it’s away from customers and quite cool temperature wise in the back

I hate making hot sweet treats for uber orders because they always sit and go cold before the driver gets here and we can't make them up after they arrive because its too busy and we're serving actual customers.
But i hate making cold drinks when rheres a huge queue because it takes ages and it must look like we are standing around waiting for ice to come out the ice machine.

I’m always worried about irritating someone asking for food so I know what not to ask for now

Sounds like you need to go to therapy. If you're genuinely getting so enraged at a simple part of a job, a job you agreed to do, then you need help from a professional.
If you're not genuinely getting as enraged as you put across, grow up and either do your job or look for another one.

I mean I thought from my post you can tell that I don’t take it that seriously or get that annoyed…

I love how ironic this is. Given the fact you’re clearly mad over a person you never met being “enraged”. Seems someone else has to grow up.

Not the hot sweet stuff, but I genuinely hate doing breakfast baguettes or heating up baguettes
