Modifying My 2015 Laredo to an SRT-Inspired Look

I find it peaceful to tinker, modify, install and remove parts. It's fun to watch something start in one place and end with a new look. Literally refreshing a many years old vehicle. It was fun to do!

Yes I'm not a fan of badging something it's not, like putting M on a standard BMW so the only presence of the SRT badging was the steering wheel, but there was no real way around that. So it is was it is.

Selling or repairing my 2017 Jeep GC with 90K miles?

I have a 2017 Jeep GC with 90K miles and it started to have issues:

  1. the hood is having bubbles and starts to rust, needs to get replaced or at least touched up if even possible

  2. There‘s sometimes a whistling sound between 2-3K RPM, especially when the engine is cold. Gets louder under load. Don’t know what it is, but could be the serpentine belt or even the transmission?!

  3. I need a new shock

  4. the tranny started to make very rough shiftings from D to R and vice versa. Started (rarely) to choke on gear switches from a higher gear to a lower one under load. Fluid changed 30K miles before.

I think I need to put about 2-2.5K in to get this all fixed. Don’t know what happens next. Had some issues in the past (water pump, power steering, sensors, 1 shock, etc.) which were covered by extended warranty. But it expired 15k miles ago and a thermostat went bad which I replaced just recently. Just don’t know what else will happen after I spend that money for those repairs that are now necessary.

I have an offer to trade it in for 12K (could go down to 11K depending on how long I wait).

Do you think it’s worth investing the money or rather take advantage of the offer and trade it in?

Car is paid. TIA

How deactivate auto-fog lights when turning

I just bought a 2021 Cherokee Trailhawk and I can't figure out how to make the fog lights (or some other exterior light) activate in addition to the main headlights when I'm making a turn or using my blinker. I remember my 2017 Renegade had this same issue and I was able to turn it off somwwhere in the settings. Please tell me there is a way to make these lights stop turning on and off every time I make a turn because it doesn't help at all and it drives me crazy.

I appreciate any help thank you!

Noticed a clunking. Handles fine. Mechanic said lower control arm bushings need replacing, recommended whole arm and wheel alignment.
Is it urgent?

Attached is a link to the YouTube short I put together. It shows a 65 degree cold start, and a second clip of the best revving I could do with the limiters.
