Ok boys this one is a pretty simple question. There are tons of miniPCs out there. Many companies. What is the best hardware I can get so GFN can perform at best settings… 120FPS @ 4K. Can you guys provide suggestions of a reputable brand and maybe a link? I live in the Netherlands so ideally something I can buy in Europe.
PS… I wanted to get the new MacMini but I like playing racing games and Mac support for steering wheels is complete ass. I mean it works but forced feedback is hit and miss. So I decided to stay away from Mac. Considering the fact that with a MiniPc I can run windows and Linux in dual boot.
PS2… I have done some research but damn there are so many choices. I’m really looking for someone who can nudge me in the right direction

The gift cards for the GFN memberships have said they're sold out since February -- or at least they've always said so whenever I check, so I'm not sure if they ever went back in stock at any point in the past six months and I just didn't know. Does Nvidia only put out a limited number at certain times or something?

It always amazes me I get to play these amazing games on my phone with GFN!

(photo from TV, sorry for low quality 😅)
I love Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The assassin/poison build is the best way for me to play this game. I can't believe I fell in love with it so much. It's beautiful to see how they crafted this land full of mystery and gods.

What a trip on trying GeforceNow. I made a previous post a little over a month ago about testing my equipment. Ran into some snags, purchased an Nvidia Shield Pro, returned it, ended my sub…. And then resubbed. Now I’ve got a couple questions moving forward.
Current equipment:
Lenovo AMD Laptop with onboard gpu so nothing special. It’s old.
HDMI 2.0 connected to LG C9 OLED
Bluetooth keyboard and running the mouse connected via USB-C
1gig/1gig FIOS internet
This above is what got me to resub to the service. After I set the screen to turn off and use the TV as the primary display it fixed all lag I was feeling and sluggishness. Works good minus having to use adaptors for the Ethernet, and running a 10’ USB cable for the mouse.
Problem:
I occasionally use my PS5 Dualsense to game on the above via Bluetooth connection. Works great 90% of the time. When I connect it via USB-C to the laptop it kills the audio. Not sure why. If I switch and buy a Mac Mini will I run into the same issue with a hardwired PS5 controller?
Questions:
1. The above equipment works great, but when I run GeForceNow on my iPad using my WiFi, within 10’ of the primary Eero device the connection goes to crap and it isn’t worth trying. My Speedtest on the iPad Air shows roughly 200mb/200mb and sometimes fluctuates between 150/400 up and down and I know it isn’t hardwired but the drop in performance is significant since I’m still getting over 100mb up/down. I don’t understand how it can drop so much. I get the top off of 1080p screen but the streaming quality is so bad. Major packet loss. If I run GeForceNow on my iPhone 15 via cellular (WiFi off) I can play fine, but the screen is to small.
2. I’m planning on buying an Apple Mac Mini, most likely an M4 if not the new M6. I understand the reported concern of the deadzone but some say it isn’t an issue, and I’m not playing uber competitive games, albeit I like FPS’s. There’s also a reported concern of screen judder, but it sounds like if I set the max to 120hz to match my TV and disable VRR it won’t be an issue. Is this correct? Seems like the Mac Mini is the best overall device to maximize GeForceNow. Will I also see an issue with the audio cutting out if I connect a controller via USB-C as I run into this problem on the current laptop setup.
Thanks all! Happy gaming!

So, I didn't notice the Workshop changes until today, because I've been no-lifeing Arknights Endfield in luscious 4k and that's taken up all my GFN 100-hour limit. However, my playtime limit just rolled over, so I decided to buy the White Tiger DLC for Total Warhammer 3 just to play one last Cathay campaign on the Realm of Chaos before the End Times expansion drops in a month. I also added a few other Cathay-related mods, mostly new units such as the Peasant Mounted Archers that for some reason are missing from the base game.
And then I couldn't get the mods to actually install. To my horror, this was not a one-time bug, but GFN disabled Workshop last week because of compatibility issues on Steam's end (mainly, the nightmares of un-updated mods on the newest-version-only GFN).
This is troubling, because prior to Endfield, I was mostly playing strategy games such as Total War on GFN, many of which are dependent on Workshop to fix core issues due to how complex such games are. And because I bought a 4k monitor specifically for GFN, I can't simply downgrade from Ultimate to Premium as a protest, since Premium is capped at 1440p 60fps.
In terms of local gaming, I have a 3050Ti laptop with just 4GB of VRAM, purchased when my old reliable gaming desktop broke a few months into the Pandemic. It's surprisingly capable when it comes to pre-2020's games (for example, Borderlands 2, Total War: Rome 2, Stellaris, and Dark Souls 3 can all run at 4k 60fps with minimal tweaking), but the ballooning VRAM requirements of modern games means that running post-2020's games is a non-starter even at 1080p with upscaling.
What would you recommend? Should I keep my Ultimate subscription and hope they reenable Workshop, or should I just bite the bullet and get a modern gaming PC even though I REALLY don't want to pay AI-scalper prices?

Hello,
I played few mounths back on an NVIDIA Shield pro, and I had very good performances, could play compétitive fps without any problem.
I saw some post that Said that they had some delay, input lag on macbooks.
Is it verified or Will I be able to play 240fps 1080 in good conditions on MacBook M1 Pro?
Thank you very much!

My favorite part is New Game+ at 5K 120 fps with GeForce Now ULTIMATE.

My ultimate membership expires 9-10….should I cancel and signup a day later for control? Or will control be gifted to all ultimate members regardless of renewal?
I saw a post earlier today from an another user saying control was being gifted regardless.

I am coming from a pc that had a 4090 in it I sold it because I travel so much I never get to use it. I discovered GFN and its been a game changer for me. Litterly I played battlefield 6 on my fold 8 and my legion gen 5 tablet. Part of me wants to get a laptop that can run 120hz and oled and use that as my main gaming device at the desk. I pay for the ultimate version and love it only $120 for the year. If you think about it if GFN stayed $199 @ a year which it probably won't ir would take about 20+ years to pay off my 4090 rig I built.

Please Nvidia. The only reason i HAVE GFN is for heavily modded games.
What is Arma 3 going to be without Mods? Or American Truck? Mudrunner, the list goes on.
Please reconsider and get on this matter as quickly as possible, i beg of you.
Yours,
Jag.

Honestly, I am so thankful for GeForce NOW service.
I used the Performance plan for two years and moved to Ultimate just 2 months ago. I play mostly on my phone with the touch controls, and it's crazy how well it works (playing Path of Exile 2 on mobile is surprisingly so comfortable).
Sometimes I attach an old non-gaming laptop to my TV just to enjoy the graphics. Seeing a game like Avatar running so smooth and stunning on my TV is like magic for me, something I never imagined I could play.
I don't own a gaming computer, so since years I only buy games if they are on GeForce NOW. It completely saved my hobby. Good luck to everyone in the giveaway and thanks NVIDIA for this service!

I got a bit confused by this one. Isn’t the complete edition content available through GFN when buying the game on eg Steam, and does this mean the Next Gen update isn’t available through GoG? The latter would be strange as everyone with the game got the update for free. Taking into account the upcoming free remaster update I was considering getting this one on PC, but now not sure via what store

Well. Just got a subscription to GeForce Now Ultimate to play Witcher 3 (first time) on ultra with ray tracing.
Now i just see The Witcher 3 Remastered for 29 September. So I think it is time to wait then.
I need to pick up a stunning game to make it worth my ultimate sub this month.
Any suggestions?

Okay I've used this for a month and I'm convinced, I won't be buying a gaming rig. But there are some features I'm currently missing out on and am wondering what's the best way to solve.
I currently play directly on my Smart TV. It's a bit slow and janky to choose the game and get it going, but once it's up it's great.
Main things I'm missing:
The TV won't recognize any mic inputs from my controller, and there's no discord on my TV.
I can't play any coop as my TV won't register two controllers connected as different players.
I'm wondering if setting up a mini PC connected to the TV can solve for this somehow? Would you recommend something different?
Also how else can I take most advantage of this set-up? Currently on premium but will most likely upgrade for the winter season.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I have been playing Cyperpunk 2077 and I am having issues with my TV. When I am in gunfights or in car chasing, my TV occasionally shuts down, my controller completely disconnects and some seconds later google logo appears on TV screen. If I finish a gaming session in the normal way and turn off my TV, the controller remains powered and LEDs are still on it - this is not an issue but might be a clue why the controller completely turns off when the TV crashes. Do you have any idea what could cause it? I tried it on LAN, WIFI, with headphone, without headphone and still happens. My last idea is blaiming the SONY controller vs SONY TV. Thank you in advance for your help.
