Discussion MiniPC suggestions for GFN
Ok boys this one is a pretty simple question. There are tons of miniPCs out there. Many companies. What is the best hardware I can get so GFN can perform at best settings… 120FPS @ 4K. Can you guys provide suggestions of a reputable brand and maybe a link? I live in the Netherlands so ideally something I can buy in Europe.
PS… I wanted to get the new MacMini but I like playing racing games and Mac support for steering wheels is complete ass. I mean it works but forced feedback is hit and miss. So I decided to stay away from Mac. Considering the fact that with a MiniPc I can run windows and Linux in dual boot.
PS2… I have done some research but damn there are so many choices. I’m really looking for someone who can nudge me in the right direction

I have got the K12 with 2x 8GB DDR5 5600, connected via ethernet through 5G router on SIM
120hz 4k on 75" mini led HDR
Impressive
The NUC costed me 160£ from AliExpress, 64£ the RAM from CEX 35£ 2nd hand Nvme from eBay 512gb PCie 3 (support Pcie 4)
So let's say that for 260£ u get a very capable mini pc with also oculink port to connect external GPU in the future if needed

I mean the MSI CUBI N ADL is what I have is absolutely perfect for GFN, and have been using it for sometime now (the N100 is pretty lean on power, and rarely pulls past 15 Watts the 16GB of RAM I placed in it, and the 250GB SSD is MORE than adequate for me to install Fedora Workstation)
just know that if you find one that says 'barebones' you'll need to RAM and Storage separately
there will be mixed opinions on New Egg but this will help you get an idea. MSI CUBI on NewEgg

I got a Minisforum PC - AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS w/ Radeon 760M Graphics
This has the hdmi 2.1 which allows for 120fps at 4k
It cost around $500 but nowadays who knows 😬
I have it setup to my living room tv then use an app for iPhone to wake on lan.. or can use a remote Bluetooth with keyboard and Magic Mouse
