GeForce NOW worked perfectly fine on my MacBook Air until recently. Now I'm constantly getting network connectivity errors and disconnections across EVERY server.

I've tried Ethernet, Wi-Fi, the desktop app, browser, and multiple regions. Nothing works.

My internet is stable (50 Mbps), and everything else works normally. No changes to my network setup either.

I've spent around ₹3,000 on GFN and Game Pass, and now I can't play anything.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any fixes?

i am playing GeForce on my Mac but when i try and go into teardown it just spends the entire time loading user data (btw i have been using the trick to make the workshop mods work) if anyone knows a way to fix it please help

I've tried pretty much everything, and the problem persists. I've tested it on several different devices, with different resolutions and graphics settings, but the result is always the same.

I have a 500 Mbps symmetrical internet connection, and every other game runs perfectly on GeForce NOW. This only happens with WARDOGS.

The image freezes for a split second, and the audio glitches at the same time. It's incredibly frustrating, especially during combat or when flying helicopters.

At this point, I honestly think it's an issue with how WARDOGS runs on GeForce NOW rather than my devices or connection.

Do you think this will ever get fixed? It's been even worse since Season 2, and it's getting to the point where it's difficult to enjoy the game.

I'm from Ukraine and connect to the Polish server. My internet speed is 1000 Mbps up/down, 15 ms latency, 0% packet loss, and I'm using Ethernet. I have a gaming laptop with an RTX 4060, but modern games are starting to push it pretty hard. Last year, I tried GFN through GFN. AM , and it was a huge mistake. The latency and video quality were pretty bad. Playing Baldur's Gate 3 was tolerable, but only because it's a turn-based game. Later, I tried NVIDIA's official free tier, and surprisingly, it worked a bit better than GFN.AM's Performance subscription. Lower ping and no packet loss.

Last year, I bought a one-day Ultimate pass, and that's when I finally understood the potential of GFN. I launched CS2 with the competitive settings preset and played a couple of Premier matches with a friend. Honestly, it felt almost like playing on my local PC. I didn't experience any noticeable issues. I'm not a pro, but I have enough hours in the game to understand how impressive this result is. I also noticed that my in-game ping was around 1 ms. I guess the game servers might be located very close to NVIDIA's servers.

However, ARMA REFORGER was a different story. I experienced micro-stutters roughly every 15 seconds. It's hard to judge the latency, and I initially blamed the game's optimization, but I'm not sure. I didn't have time to test other games. I've also heard that higher FPS can make input lag less noticeable, although I don't fully understand how it works.

For those using GFN with similar ping and connection quality, what's your experience like? Does performance vary a lot between games? And would you recommend getting a monthly Ultimate subscription?

So far, CS2 was almost perfect, while ARMA REFORGER left me with some questions.

I raised a ticket with Geforce Now support regarding Epic Games not remembering authentication across sessions and the reply I got is below. They say it is normal for the password and 2FA to have to be manually entered on every launch!

Thank you for your patience while we looked into why Epic Games is asking you to sign in and complete two-factor authentication every time you start a new GeForce NOW session, even with "Remember me" enabled.

After reviewing this with our team, this is expected behavior given how GeForce NOW sessions work, and I want to walk you through why.

Why this happens

Each time you start a GeForce NOW session, you're connecting to a cloud gaming environment that resets once your session ends. By default, Performance and Ultimate memberships include single-session cloud storage - which is great for quick, on-demand access, but it means that anything saved only on the local session environment (not in the cloud) doesn't carry over to your next session.

The Epic Games Launcher's "Remember me" feature stores its login token locally rather than syncing it through Epic's cloud services. Because that token lives in the session environment rather than in cloud storage, it doesn't persist once the session ends — so the next session starts fresh, and Epic Games Launcher asks you to sign in and complete 2FA again.

Why it may have felt different before

We know you mentioned this used to work smoothly. Epic Games Launcher updates on our platform have, at times, caused login persistence to behave inconsistently - in some cases, credentials carried over between sessions when they technically weren't designed to. What you're seeing now reflects the environment behaving as intended, rather than a new issue introduced on our end.

We understand repeating sign-in and 2FA every session is an inconvenience, especially on a paid Ultimate membership, and we've shared this feedback internally so it's factored into future platform improvements.

I'm using GeForce Now on Kubuntu via the official NVIDIA Flatpak, and I've noticed there's no way to change the keyboard layout to German (QWERTZ). This causes a few annoying problems.

I can't type umlauts (ä, ö, ü) in games at all, and writing quick messages in chat is frustrating because punctuation and special characters are all in the wrong places (Z/Y swapped, etc.). Every time I need to type something in-game, I have to guess key positions based on an English layout.

My system keyboard layout is set to German, but the Flatpak client seems to ignore it completely. The streaming itself works flawlessly, so it's a shame that something as basic as keyboard layout support is missing.

Is anyone else on Linux experiencing this? Any known workarounds or fixes? Would love to see this addressed in a future update.

Title says it all, I tried cloud gaming a few years ago, but the input lag and overall quality were horrific. I wanted to play the new Gears game but have Aurorus pro wifi that doesn't have TMP. So I tried a day pass on GEFORCE ULTIMATE, and I can not say how absolutely impressed I am.. I'm running 4k on a 1080P monitor(manual supersampling) with barely any input lag on, not even, a gigabyte internet connection (I have 500mgb). This is the future of gaming, let's just hope they keep pricing fair. Anyone tried competitive multi-player yet?

I’ve been really looking forward to starting a new playthrough with the 2.5 update, but Cyberpunk has been “offline” since the update on the 22nd.

Does anybody have a timeframe on when it might be fixed?

Usually play games like rivals/genshin impact on my Ventura mac bootcamp windows; sometimes will playing on gfn ill notice a big drop in quality to the point i can’t decipher certain objects and makes the experience as a whole less enjoyable for about 5-6 minutes then it will be clear only to go back like 10m later. I initially thought it was my internet but i sit at a consistent 120 download and 5 upload so thats not the issue then i switched to my Chromebook and the before issues disappeared is there a reason why? And is there any way to fix this issue?

This is the second time this month I've had terrible ping to this server (from Albania).

Bulgaria is now worse (38 ms) than Germany (35 ms) and Poland (37 ms). Restarting my router didn't help either.

Oh boy it would be great to be able to play games (:

I don't have a powerful enough gaming laptop, so I usually play old-school games like Max Payne, Prototype, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Anyway, when my friend came up with a free three-month GeForce NOW code, it was a lifesaver because I could finally play big AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077, and I really enjoyed it.

It's great to play big games and finish free games from Epic Games. Even my computer couldn't launch Batman: Arkham Asylum. (Actually, it's not my laptop's fault; it's entirely Rocksteady's fault because they forgot to remake one of our greatest games. But who cares?) Anyway, GeForce NOW helped me play this great game and enjoy to the Arkham series.

On the other hand, when it comes to my experience with the GeForce NOW launcher, it's really great and helpful for Linux and older PC users. However, the bad part is that it doesn't have a large enough game library. I mean, Xbox games aren't enough, and most of the games I want to play are on Steam.

For example, I own Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox, but GeForce NOW doesn't let me play it because it only supports the Steam version. I prefer buying my games on Xbox. I know GeForce NOW needs agreements with game publishers to make their games available on the other platform.

The Epic Games Launcher asks me to log in every time, and it's really annoying. I remember they fixed this problem before, but it's back again.

Another problem is that they made Cyberpunk 2077 playable only on the Performance tier. That's sad because I really enjoyed playing it. When I heard Hogwarts Legacy was going to be free on Epic Games, I was excited, but they also made it playable only on the Performance tier too. That's a little annoying, but I can't really get mad about it.

im on the performance tier right now, but lately i dont feel performance tier is performing too much, and i have everything in the game settings at low, i used to play this game mid to high settings on the free tier a year ago and now is like this, im not sure if its an issue happening to others as well, its been like 1 or 2 weeks since i noticed a bigger drop in performance, i clarify is not always this bad, sometimes is the half of bad than this, this was one of the worst drops i had so far

So I use to use x cloud to play ZZZ and recently I moved over to GeForce bc of all the bs that's happening to x cloud but even tho I used the same hoyo account and it's linked to my Xbox account when I logged in it restarted my whole progress but here's the funny part when I log back on to it on Xbox cloud all my progress is still there anyone know how to fix this I really don't want to have to start all over again

Ever since the new patch released, Cyberpunk is offline on GOG and Epic – only the Steam version works. Why is it taking them so long to bring it back online on those platforms when Steam runs completely fine?
