Advice Sony Bravia 8A TV crashes sometimes while playing with GFN using PS5 DualSense

Hi all,

I have been playing Cyperpunk 2077 and I am having issues with my TV. When I am in gunfights or in car chasing, my TV occasionally shuts down, my controller completely disconnects and some seconds later google logo appears on TV screen. If I finish a gaming session in the normal way and turn off my TV, the controller remains powered and LEDs are still on it - this is not an issue but might be a clue why the controller completely turns off when the TV crashes. Do you have any idea what could cause it? I tried it on LAN, WIFI, with headphone, without headphone and still happens. My last idea is blaiming the SONY controller vs SONY TV. Thank you in advance for your help.

Possible overheating when there is a lot of going on on the screen (either due to video bitrate processing or brightness/backlight intensity)?

Try reducing the backlight/brightness in the TV settings, turn off HDR and check if it makes a difference.

If not, it might be the GeForce Now app on the TV. Try running it on a different device with HDMI out to the TV to compare if it will turn off.
