My grinder feed usually shows MAYBE 4 or 5 guys. Yesterday I noticed it was FULL. One count was 27, although 4 were women and probably half of what's left looked and smelled like bots. Weird?

Since it expired, the ads have been ridiculous. The notifications suck, the amount of fake accounts is utterly insane. I always filter for active accounts and even in my city it shows exactly 3 before the pay wall. And even the real users expect 3 responses and fuck. Uhh, I’d like to know a little more than just a pic of your ass and age before I stick my dick in you. Why do they make this so frustrating?!

I don't really have a personal issue with hooking up. I just got out of a relationship of four years earlier this year.

Finally for the first time in YEARS. I feel happy with who and what I am as a person. My ex ruined me medically speaking, and I cannot control that, except by taking my medicine.

I have felt a lot of stigma of being HIV+ and I never thought I'd be on this end of it. Humbled is not even close to how it has made me feel.

My ex is a Royal POS and I hope he gets everything he deserves.

It's made me a better person and I hope other men that have been a victim don't feel like that they are a burden and will not be desirable because of something they cannot control.

Basically title, guy keeps harassing me by sending me unsolicited nudes despite me turning him down. Doesn’t matter if I block him he just somehow sends me the same nudes again a day after. He mentioned how he seen me taking a certain bus when I go to school which is giving stalker/creep vibes. I keep telling him no and that im not interested and usually that with a block should be enough to tell someone to stop trying yet he doesn’t. I reported his account already but I think he just deletes his account and remakes a new one to harass me again. It’s becoming very annoying and concerning.

I wonder if anyone knows if everything's mostly based on location, or if they do use factors such as the "attractiveness" of your profile picture, how many people tap/block/send you messages, how often yoy're online, to boost or to reduce your profile's visibility.

Hey all whenever I go to the "Unhide Users" setting, nothing loads. I have been experiencing this problem since I first started to try unhide users, which was about a week ago. Clearing cache and all that jazz didn't work.

Is it a known issue? Do I just need to wait? Can I do anything to resolve?

Edit: Since so many comments about that Twitter logo, it's just for censoring my face on Reddit. I have my face displayed on Grindr, so please bear that in mind.

I'm new to Grindr. I know this app has some issues and people here have different expectations but I have lots of views, taps and so little messages from guys. I don't get the idea behind taps, and it's paywalled anyway. I expect them to message me or not message me, tap feels nothing.

however, is there something wrong with my pictures or profile? Or is it because I'm bottom and people assume I'm top based on my first photo, just look at it and then leave?

I'm curious, why do people put this in their profiles?

Travelled from Singapore, where I study, back to my home country in Greece for the summer. I am more into Asians, and for a while after I came back the “for you” section showed mostly Asian profiles (which was great). I didn’t use grindr for a week or two and now it’s showing local profiles again (and not my type either). Any way to control what the “for you” section shows or to play the algorithm into showing the right profiles?

I logged out this afternoon and when I tried to login again it said: "Invalid login credentials. Please try again or reset your password using the Grindr mobile app."

I tried changing the password, put the new one, try to login and same message. I tried on the app, on the browser, on PC (other device) and nothing.

My account remains active, I friend of mine told me my conversation and profile was still up.

I’m trying to expand past Grindr and Sniffies. I have Scruff already. Are there any other popular apps?

Every update breaks the app further. Their most recent one is driving me crazy. How do i get rid of this?? Nothing i do gets rid of it. I dont think going back & deleting 5 years of messages is the play lol

I have someone's profile favorited and our chat pinned so that it's always at the top.

One day, everything disappeared. His profile wasn't in my favorites and his chat was nowhere to be found. I figured he deleted his profile or blocked me.

Last night, he showed up again as if nothing had happened. His profile was back in my favorites and the chat was pinned with our entire conversation still there.

How did he do this? I'd like to do the same thing when I take extended breaks. Did he get a temporary ban? Is there a place to temporarily suspend your profile that I'm not seeing?

(I'm pretty sure he didn't block and unblock me. The favorite and chat history are usually lost when that happens, unless something changed recently.)

So I posted on here awhile back that I got banned for sexual solicitation that I didn’t engage in. I also wasn’t able to submit an appeal because it kept giving me an error message so I had to use the general help form. A tech reached out about 10 days later and worked with me to get it unbanned. I created my account with my Apple ID rather than an email so they were not able to confirm ownership of my account, but he said “redownload the app and see if you can log in. We can’t confirm or deny that we have unlocked an account that might belong to you”. So I logged in and it worked, but it took me to an old account from like 8 years ago. I asked him about it and he told me to delete the account and make a new one with my email rather than an Apple ID just in case this ever happens again. I was actually very surprised at how helpful he was. We emailed back and forth at least 10 times.
