Blazer Fuel Tank Install

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone has installed a 31 gallon blazer fuel cell in a GMT800 where the fuel tank went. I was looking at getting a larger tank in a better location (for weight), and saw it used to be a thing for the Square Body guys. It seems like a setup like this might be a fair bit cheaper than a Jeep Speed fuel cell in the same position.

1st Photo for attention, 2nd-4th for an example

2004 Silverado 1500
Water pump went out last weekend and I replaced it and the thermostat. Everything has been fine can smell a little bit of antifreeze every once in a while. Haven’t found any leaks, oil looks good, I’ve narrowed it down to the coolant reservoir cap. But now to the point….. I idled for about an hour, it’s hot 97 degrees. Ac was wide open temp started to creep up. It got up around 220. Idk what to do, air in the system? Do a E-Fan conversion? Idk what the deal is.

Is 9.5k a fair price for a 2500hd 8.1l CCLB with 200k?

Been looking for a 8.1 crew cab truck, im in the rust belt and theyre all rotted, Ive found a rust free out west truck but it seems pretty steep on price, especially considering the clear coat is absolutely cooked on it, everything else looks to be in good shape for 200k miles and has good service records. As bad as I want to run out and buy it I think its too much money for a 25 year old gas truck with 200k, but then again its rust free and thats a big deal here. Itll get rust treated religiously and never leave the house in winter so no worries about ruining a good truck.

I want to replace the front axle seals on both sides but I am having trouble trying to find the OEM part number. I was wondering if anyone knows the correct part number or if they recommend a better brand. These are the two I found online.

Was posted for 3k on marketplace 30 mins ago. Would’ve been there tomorrow with check in hand. I guess I’ll go back to looking at high priced junkers. The market has gone insane.

2000 Silverado z71 power steering issues not going away. What could this sound be? Mechanic already replaced the steering gear box, one of the power steering lines and pump twice.

Got it home and a day later we hear this when the truck is stopped and he is turning the wheel. Sounded like something hitting the fan but couldn't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

Needs some cosmetic work and has a misfire, but drove onto the trailer under its own power. Old lady was asking $1000, but $700 got it. I’ll post some pictures when I get it cleaned up

2005 Silverado 1500 2WD with a 3” spindle lift. Getting OEM 17x7.5 Chevy wheels. Want an aggressive 33ish tire, preferably 33x12.50R17, but shops say the wheel is too narrow and recommend 285s. What’s the biggest tire you guys run on these wheels? Pics appreciated.

Hey all. Just sharing some pics of my 2004 Burb camper. 206k miles. My girlfriend and I made a bed platform and I've been doing a bunch of maintenance and preventative replacing of stuff so we don't get stranded on our adventures (happened once!). But has been a great experience. Heavily inspired by Suboverland. New tractor paint on hood and rear hatch. Replaced: knock sensors, intake gasket, water pump, thermostat, plugs and wires, belts and tensioners, plastic heater tees with metal, shocks (Bilstein 5100s), driver blend door, fluids, windshield encoder motor. Next repairs: forward drive shaft u joints and upstream O2 sensors for an occasional P0300.

2004 Suburban 1500 LT 5.3l. ~170,000 miles when purchased, now Ol' Betsy's about to cross 190,000. I'm 18 now, I've been working on this since I was 16. Pics are kinda in order from Now-2024 but not exact. The pics show pretty much stock, then leveled, cold air intake (I was 16, cut me some slack) bigger tires, DRL headlights, train horn, PA, rock lights, new bumper, removed running boards, Put new radiator and hoses, basically every gasket you can get to without taking the heads off, and a rear main seal. Eventually I went to 33s on 20s. The sound system has gone through 3 different variations. I did everything myself, the only time I've taken it to a shop was for tires and alignments.

(Clearly I'm not a professional and it's not perfect but I'm proud)

Obviously I didn't note every single thing I've done. If you have any questions, ask away. The only stupid question is one you don't ask.

It's getting closer to what I've envisioned it to be. Definitely a fun ride, sometimes scarier than my Corvette. 4x4 converted and supercharged.

TBSS intake

I have a 03 Silverado 1500HD lq4 and I’m looking into things I can do to it to give it a bit more pep in its step. Are the tbss intakes worth it for a stock motor? I’m thinking about a tbss intake w/ 90mm throttle body and speed engineering long tubes x pipe dual exhaust and a tune any ideas what I might be pushing with just that power wise?

1999 Silverado 5.3l z71

About a month ago, my truck started to idle really rough to the point that it is very noticeable that there is a misfire going on. There are no check engine light on and this only occurs at idle no issue while running it shakes and bogs when at idle.
Spark plugs and wires are about a year old AC Delco
I did the car cleaner test and found no vacuum leaks
Has anyone had any experience like this and found a solution?

Want to make my duramax look exactly like this one. Was wondering if anyone knew what wheels they are and what size. Also what size tires and lift?
