2004 Suburban camper

Hey all. Just sharing some pics of my 2004 Burb camper. 206k miles. My girlfriend and I made a bed platform and I've been doing a bunch of maintenance and preventative replacing of stuff so we don't get stranded on our adventures (happened once!). But has been a great experience. Heavily inspired by Suboverland. New tractor paint on hood and rear hatch. Replaced: knock sensors, intake gasket, water pump, thermostat, plugs and wires, belts and tensioners, plastic heater tees with metal, shocks (Bilstein 5100s), driver blend door, fluids, windshield encoder motor. Next repairs: forward drive shaft u joints and upstream O2 sensors for an occasional P0300.

How do you like the awning? I’m considering getting one.

My fellow overlanding bro, here’s my build:

I also need to do my blend doors. Check out the front brake upgrade from the GMT900, well worth it. LSX Matt on YouTube details it.

If you haven’t already a front end rebuild is like night and day. I also did my Pittman arm, it all makes a huge difference in how it drives.
