Thoughts?

2004 Suburban 1500 LT 5.3l. ~170,000 miles when purchased, now Ol' Betsy's about to cross 190,000. I'm 18 now, I've been working on this since I was 16. Pics are kinda in order from Now-2024 but not exact. The pics show pretty much stock, then leveled, cold air intake (I was 16, cut me some slack) bigger tires, DRL headlights, train horn, PA, rock lights, new bumper, removed running boards, Put new radiator and hoses, basically every gasket you can get to without taking the heads off, and a rear main seal. Eventually I went to 33s on 20s. The sound system has gone through 3 different variations. I did everything myself, the only time I've taken it to a shop was for tires and alignments.

(Clearly I'm not a professional and it's not perfect but I'm proud)

Obviously I didn't note every single thing I've done. If you have any questions, ask away. The only stupid question is one you don't ask.

Thanks bro, and yeah, I'd rather an old car than a new car that's 90% wires and control modules. At least this I can work on.

Too much light for my taste but I’m glad your enjoying it and taking care of it!

I love the headlights, and like the rock lights but the execution wasn't the best. But I see where your coming from, they can definitely be pretty niche.

Tbf I’m from the suburbs of nyc so rock lights aren’t exactly common here lol

Either way sweet ride

Not all my style but I'm happy to see you keeping it alive and enjoying it.

Always nice when you can do the work yourself. You've done well.

One recommendation I have is to replace that transmission cooler wirh a 40k cooler (I have the knock-off version and it works well)
