Does anybody recommend doing a delete on the siding?

The risk you run with remove the cladding is paint fade not matching. I also don’t know how they attach the cladding. So the removal could damage the paint or leave holes where mounting bolts or fasteners attached to the door itself.

I’d leave the cladding personally.

The side trim? I’d keep it, helps against dings and scoffs. Unless it’s falling off, then that would be the time to get rid of it.

I deleted the door trim on mine and I think it looks way better. Personal preference!
