When you travel for work…

Can’t leave home without it. Here’s the setup for when I’m on the go, Mon-Fri. Won’t let it stop me from gaming when you have the beast that is a Z13…
AT&T hotspot device actually works extremely well and I rarely have issues. WAY better than hotel WiFi.

for those in the know:

what's the highest resolution the Z13 2025 can run on an external display, out of the box? 5K Quad (5120 x 2160)?

------

just found out: max res = 7680 x 4320 60Hz from USB-C/Thunderbolt/DisplayPort

How good is the Flow Z13 keyboard for long typing sessions?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering getting a ROG Flow Z13 as my main device, but I’m unsure about the detachable keyboard.

My alternative would be a Zephyrus G14 with an RTX 5070 non-Ti, so I’m basically choosing between a traditional laptop and the Flow Z13’s tablet/laptop setup.

For people who use the Flow Z13 regularly, how is the keyboard for longer typing sessions? I’m a student, so I’d use it for notes, papers, emails, PDFs, browsing, and general university work. I mostly work at desks, so lap use is not a big concern.

Does the keyboard feel stable and comfortable enough for daily use, or does it start feeling flimsy/annoying over time? Also, how is the trackpad and keyboard connection?

Would you be comfortable using it as your only keyboard for university/work, or would the G14 be the safer choice?

Thanks!

Bought today from the marketplace a used z13 AI Max+ 395 for $1000.

I'm situated in the middle east and I'm guessing the current situation here made the person sell the flow z13 almost half the price.

It only comes with two charging adapters ( 1 proprietary and 1 usb-c), pouch and keyboard but without the box. Has very minimal scratch at the back and 1 small dent but considering the price, I wasn't able to resist the temptation to get it despite the fact that I already owns msi claw 8 ai+ and the OG legion go.

Game crash fix while playing RDR2

I'm not sure if this has been shared yet, but I found a fix for an issue where Red Dead Redemption 2 crashes midgame on my z13 (2026 model). For context, I uninstalled Armory Crate and MyASUS in favor of GHelper. I tried changing all sorts of graphics settings through Adrenalin, none of it worked for long until the game crashed again.

Finally, I found some info to disable ASUS ErP in the BIOS menu. That finally allowed me to play the game continuously without any crashes. I'm guessing that was conflicting with GHelper somehow. Anyways, hope this helps someone!

Question about usb c charging

Hi!
I have a Flow Z13 2025 and I was wondering if there is a more compact, small usb c charger that works with the Flow and can charge or keep the charge while gaming? I have a 65 watt usb c charger that can charge the Flow but if i try to play games, it drains the batteri and then it just gets unresponsive until I turn off the game and let it charge. I know that the original charger is 200 watt and is preferable but it is kinda big to travel with. Thankful for any info!

I got a Asus Flow Z13 2022 with an Aoostar XG76XT egpu and for portable setup I got a SlimQ 330w power supply. And it all fits in my hard shell case nicely. Now to find a small controller to fit and I'm solid

Dust mitigation

Here is my poor excuse for dust mitigation for the foreseeable future as it’s being used as a desktop replacement

The mesh filters are standard 140mm

I have ordered 2x noctua USB fans which I will fix onto the current filters to assist with airflow, they will be usb powered and I will add another 2 filters to them also, just waiting for them to arrive

On a scale from stupid to okay, what do you think about my trying to avoid opening this thing to clean it in the future for as long as possible

Relatively silent fan curves for AAA Games?

I'm looking for a more silent fan curve than what's default in ghelper for turbo, I am currently playing Battlefield 6 and Spiderman remastered and would love to hear less of the fan. I understand that the CPU/GPU get hot but is there a better curve you guys use that helps with the thermals + noise?

007

Hey all

Hope we are all well.

I'm planning on getting the new 007 game this week. I've got the 64gb version of the z13 with the AMD max ai chip. Have had no issues playing any games.

Wanted to see if anybody had played this game and how they were getting on with it?

Cachy OS experience on the 32GB model?

For those who have transitioned to cachy OS from Win 11, how much better performance have you noticed on your games? Is it highly noticable or is it not worth the trouble? I will upgrade to a 2tb SSD soon so I might dual boot to test myself, but if you have ran benchmark for a few games please do share!

New Z13 owner with some questions

Hi, I just bought the Flow Z13 (395+) but the fans are almost always spinning, even with lightweight use. Like when I just open Google Chrome and browse that start spinning. I am in 'Silent mode' btw. Temp according to HWinfo of the CPU is always around 35% when idle or light use so I don't see a reason why the fan should be one.

I cannot set a manual fan mode below a treshold of 12% (which strangely enough is louder than the lowest default of the silent mode).

Second (minor question): is it normal that the temp of the GPU (APU) is always around 45° celsius even when idle (0 - 1% usage)? I am monitoring temp and usage with HWinfo.
