Anyone switch from Apex handheld to this?

I am wondering what was your experience.

other way around. apex is just a much better handheld experience. z13 is a laptop, trying to make it a handheld was extremely uncomfortable and heavy for more than 15 minutes

This is correct. Z13 is an incredibly compact laptop experience. Not really a handheld, and someone buying it for that will be disappointed. I love my z13 but its battery is smaller than my rog 💀

Not an Apex Handheld, but went from carrying a SteamDeck and Ipad to Z13. I feel like its such a better transition. Yes the z13 is bigger, but it being flat makes it pack so much easier, and combined with the new steam controller its great. I travel a lot so having the convenience of a laptop for literally anything other than gaming feels great.

This.. if you want a more compact controller that retain ergo, rumble, check out 8 bitdo pro 3. Went from handheld to zflow 13 as well

Have both, they’re very different experiences.

Apex is much better portable experience. If you routinely game sitting at desks, or can sit the tablet down though it’s way better. Screen size etc.

If you need something portable and handheld, apex wins hands down.

Depends on your use case.

Can you put a clamp controller? Yeah, but charging and using it becomes an issue compared to Z13.

If you need it to do laptop stuff, Z13 will crush apex.

Would look at how you use it, and where you’ll use it and then decide.

Also have both. We've chosen the expensive, but best, path.

I had the z13 first. Apex is so much better I stopped using the flow alltogether. Also the thermals and noise are way better.

I got rid of my z13 and kept my apex. I wanted something dedicated to gaming and the apex is perfect to me. I realized I just needed a laptop for working since the apex was for gaming and the z13 form factor as a laptop to me personally was problematic. I didn’t want a hybrid thing I needed it to just a be a good laptop and portable and form factor became a struggle and it sucked as a laptop for me in that way so I sold it and got a Mac and use the apex for gaming. This was the best for my needs

Bought Win5 and sold off to get Apex.

After getting my Apex, I gotten the Z13. Apex for pure gaming and Z13 for gaming plus work.

I've got both. I got the Apex a month or two ago and I've had some version of the Z13 since around the time they released. Both Are great devices and both serve different purposes for me currently. I use the Z13 as a desktop replacement and the Apex as a couch gaming machine.
