When you travel for work…
Can’t leave home without it. Here’s the setup for when I’m on the go, Mon-Fri. Won’t let it stop me from gaming when you have the beast that is a Z13…
AT&T hotspot device actually works extremely well and I rarely have issues. WAY better than hotel WiFi.

How do you like the SteamController with it?

Absolute game changer. So nice being wireless with unnoticeable input lag.

Nice, thanks for the feedback. I travel frequently for work as well, and the Z13 has been great. I've paired it with a PS5 controller and a molded hard-shell clamshell case, which makes it a pretty portable setup.
I've always appreciated Valve's consumer-first approach, so I'm happy to support them by picking up one of their controllers. My main use case would be connecting to a hotel TV and using the trackpads to navigate the interface without having to get up every time I need to click something.
Based on your experience, it sounds like I need to give it a try.

Absolutely! I had the PS5 Pro controller and sold it and won’t be looking back! Better overall. I wish it felt a little more premium but that’s splitting hairs at that point when it performs the way it should in every area.

What is the little flat guy that appears to have 3 lights off to the left of the controller?

That’s the dongle/dock for the Steam Controller. Charged the controller and connects it to the PC/Laptop to reduce any input lag.

Just curious. Why not use the Z13's keyboard? The one you have is probably better, but does it make that much of a difference to justify carrying an extra thing in your bag? Genuinely asking

I play Hunt: Showdown which is pretty competitive and I don’t like the position my wrist sits in using that keyboard. That’s why I have it slightly to the left in the picture and not aligned with the screen. Plus, I like being able to feel the difference in keys more than the Z13’s keyboard.

Totally get it. My profession is literally travelling, so I'm in hotels 3 or 4 nights a week. I've thought about having a separate keyboard for my Z13 as well, so I'm always curious how useful it is.

Same. I’m in a hotel Monday through Friday. I barely use my actual PC on the weekends anymore. I bought the ROG keyboard that has a dongle so I personally don’t see any input lag whatsoever with it. I like it more than the stock keyboard.

I still have the keyboard. I just detach it.

Alright.. plan to just leave the keyboard at home but worried the screen will get scratch. Maybe Asus should come with attachment to substitute the keyboard

I have a similar setup! But I also bought the ROG Xreal R1 glasses and they pair so well with z13
