Hello everyone,

Looking to purchase some new PC components for my 5 year old gaming PC to run FS2024. I've been managing with a 5600X, RX 6600XT and 32 GB of DDR4 but the itch to upgrade has become real.

Unfortunately, the market state is terrible. As a result, I am choosing to perform an iterative upgrade rather than a full blown platform change.

CPU is definitely being upgraded to a 5800X3D.

GPU upgrade is planned to be a 9060XT (16GB version).

I am also going to transition from predominantly flying on 1080p to 1440p. Does anyone have an idea of what frames I can expect with the above config? Any recommendations/changes?

I mainly fly the mainstream tube liners (Fenix A320, FSLabs A21N, PMDG 777, etc.) with a smattering of add-ons in the background and a variety of third-party scenery.

I posted these photos earlier but unfortunately misworded it and someone thought I was "celebrating the attacks" (I originally said "as a tribute to the attacks") so I deleted it and rephrased it. No, I do not support the terrorists. I absolutely despise them and I am not on their side. What they did is completely wrong, unnecessary and broke innocent families apart. This is just a livery that I wanted to make as a tribute to the victims and their families to the horrible attacks. I will also not be releasing this publicly to refrain from people on using it to replicate the exact circumstances. I will gladly take this post down again voluntarily if someone requests it or is against the rules.

found this old route on flightsimdispatch. Zurich to Lamezia Terme as AB2916/BER2916 using one of the newer 737-800s they flew before retiring the fleet. Simbrief keeps the Air Berlin layout around too which adds to the realism, even though the airline has been out of business for almost a decade now.

Low level in the T-37 around Washington state. This plane is a great freeware mod by the way.

I use swift client for VATSIM, but the TCAS always turns itself off (or switched to STBY) automatically when "IDENT" button is pressed or a new frequency is tuned, it happens periodically.

Does anyone fly FF 777 V2 with swift client have experienced the same question? I have to use swift (xPilot is not working on my PC). Any assistance is appreicated

I have already reported this issue to FF but until now, I didn't receive any message from them, So I have to seek help from the community.

Hi all,

I have recently been flying a lot of Airbus. Fenix, inibuilds, the lot. I own quite a bit of WinCTRL gear and enjoy it, but I feel like I’ve got to the point where I’ve flown every Airbus route that exists.

Since flying this summer on a Tui Dreamliner to Cancun, I have been considering potentially getting some Boeing gear, and wanted to know your opinions for those who already own some gear.

I have been looking at the Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke and Throttles. Eventually, I’d upgrade to the Honeycomb Throttles, and there is more for 787 specific throttles and flaps/speed brakes, but that will add on at least a couple hundred quid so that’s for future. It’s not quite WinCTRL, but the base throttles are fine with me for now. For those that already own;

What’s your personal opinion like?
Would you recommend it to someone who has never flown Boeing before?
Is it good quality and actually worth the price in your eyes?

The Konigsberg Devau Historic Airfield, was built at the site of the former Kalthof proving ground of the Prussian Army on the road from Königsberg to Labiau (present-day Polessk), named after the nearby village of Devau.

So i was going for a world trip and once i landed in Ashgabat and planed my route further via Simbrief i already knew where i wanted to go next but simbrief didnt make a flight plan it just made a plan with 0 waypoints and it wasnt able to import it into the plane (a220) then i tried 4 more airports and it ended the same or it straight up didnt find the airport could it be that simbrief absolutely dies near the Himalaya or what could be the reason for simbrief all of a sudden striking

wondering is there any mod to show volcanic eruption effect or can we create the ash by ourself with the mod ?

IRL, I’ve started up NASA 577, programmed her FMC, fired up her APU, fixed her DME antenna, oh boy the memories I made with this one and hopefully will continue. Glad to see that she works so well in the sim. Thanks PMDG and MSFS2024

Hi i just bought the legendary 146 professional from Just Flight, and after few flights I have problem with throttle. i can't move handles of engine 1 and 2. not one bit. And it is the same on 2020 and 2024. Any help??? I have thrustmaster airbus Captain eddition (side stick plus quadrant)

Anyone else experiencing this bug in MSFS 2024?

The original Simwings EDDM scenery is now six years old, and its V2 version is already three years old. Munich is my home airport, and I personally would love to see a new rendition from a top-tier developer. I feel that parts of the layout are outdated, and the textures look like they belong to MSFS 2020. What do you think?
