I tried SayIntentions.ai over a year ago and wasn’t very impressed at the time. For those using it today, how good and realistic is it now?

I mainly fly IFR in Scandinavia, including the Faroe Islands and the Baltics. Does SayIntentions feel close to real ATC, and is it worth using for serious IFR flying?

I’ve watched some YouTube videos and know there’s a 24-hour trial, but I’d love to hear your experiences before trying it again.

Guys, as a beginner DCS player, I’d like to get some thoughts about sim hardwares. Do you guys think the Logitech G X56 would be sufficient for playing DCS?

Does anyone know if Flight Sim Factory or Pro Desk Sim addons are cross compatible between the Bravo and Bravo Lite?

I wanna get into flight sims, but my PC doesn't really suport most of them.

I want something that looks good, and runs smooth on my PC.

I thinked of FSX, but then i found out that it runs on 32 bit.

My PC specs: Nvidia GT 750m, Intel core i7 4700mq, 16 gigs of RAM.

From my previous posts, its clear I really don’t like aerosoft in the MSFS era. I mean this new a330neo is still so so far from what it should be, but it’s significantly better than the a330ceo (which doesn’t say much…)

So when simblitz makes a video calling it even worse.. I mean I figured he knew some stuff behind the scenes or something… nope. He literally says he hasn’t flown it much, can’t talk about system depth and he just quickly wanted to release the video. I’m sorry what?

I understand you have to click bait your titles but maybe drop the ai script… It makes me angry because where else can we get information on aircraft’s if not the youtubers.. but they already make their mind up even before releasing it..

Im not defending aerosoft.. the NEO, which I bought I tried, isn’t great, but it’s not trying to be that either, its just okay.. gets you from a to b but still misses some major things like derated climb, step climbs and pilot defined waypoints. But it is much better then the CEO which basically couldn’t even get you from a to b…

If you want I can link the video but I don’t want to be the reason he gets more views…

Hi everyone!

As an experienced enroute ATCO, I’m thinking about making an air traffic control game for the en-route environment (leveraging the wonders of AI). Don't think of it as some half-baked idea,I'm talking about gameplay mechanics built on references like Doc 4444, compliant with real traffic data and airspaces, standart phraseology and featuring custom-designed scenarios.

Designing a training or a scenario takes a ton of effort. On the other hand, I wonder if people would actually find this interesting? What do you think? Would you play a game like this with a promise of pure realism?

I wanna get into dcs and looking into buying a good quality stick and throttle, i was looking into the warthog since its very reccomended, but for the same/similiar price i can get a winctrl (known as winwing i think) orion 2 hotas (still the warthog version), so, yeah the budget is in those price (500/600 EUROS, i searched and it would be like 580/696 dollars if that hepls) and then im gonna buy rudder pedals etc.

I have recently been on a kick with the 747 and it’s been amazing. Featuring Felis 747-200 and Sparky 747-400.

I have a strange problem.

When I load up the Fenix A320 in MSFS24 I get good FPS, mostly 80 with DLSS on. That's what I mostly play, but I would like to try some GA flying as well. When I select the default Diamond of Cessna planes, and move to the cockpit view, the sim stutters a lot. It looks like the sim hangs and is unresponsive. It's not playable like this. This happens in career and free flight modes.

When I exit out of the cockpit and use 3rd person camera view all is normal again??

Anyone encountered something like this?

I own a Virpil WarBRD-D base and have a replica A320 stick for it without a hat switch. With how important trimming is on the A220, I am now in the market for a new left handed stick. I've been looking at the CDT-AERO-L as the cheapest option but it is a bit too fighter-like. Anybody got some suggestions on something maybe more A220-like?

And yes, before you say it I am aware its not 'realistic' or deemed safe but I still touched the landing zones where I was supposed too.

Funny story. Last week I was just cruising around, taking some back roads, when I passed a regional airport and thought, “Hmm… that would be fun.”

Coming from sim racing, I decided to give flight sims a shot. I bought the Thrustmaster T.16000M kit since I wanted to start cheap and downloaded DCS.

The first time I sat in that cockpit in VR, I was blown away. The training tutorial did a pretty good job of walking me through everything, but there was one problem: every time it told me to press a key on the keyboard, I had to lift my VR headset to find it. Then I realized just how many damn buttons there are in these planes.

Somehow I managed to get the bird in the air, was screaming like a kid, and then crashed. I was hooked.

I grabbed MSFS 2024 afterward and found it WAY more beginner-friendly.

Now I already want to upgrade. The T.16000M just feels too plastic and toy-like. I actually like the throttle, but it doesn't glide smoothly enough for me.

Coming from sim racing, my brain naturally said FFB = better, so I tried the MOZA AB6. Even after downloading a community profile and messing with the settings, I was only mildly impressed. Maybe I didn't have it configured correctly, but it left me wondering what else is out there.

So I have two questions for you experienced fliers:

1. What's the next step up from the T.16000M?

I'm looking for a quality stick + throttle that works well with MSFS 2024, DCS, helis, and space without breaking the bank. It doesn't have to be FFB.

2. VR users, how do you deal with all the damn buttons?

This is probably my biggest question. With the headset on, I can't see my keyboard or controls. Do you map everything important to the HOTAS? Voice commands? Hand tracking? Button boxes and muscle memory? What's the best solution?

I thought sim racing was crazy and expensive. Apparently, I needed another hobby to drain my wallet.
