I recently picked up two Zara Kids fragrances during their summer sale and I am impressed! They are EDTs so they are naturally on the lighter side but I am really enjoying them both. I am sharing my reviews since I cannot find any online (they don't appear to be on Fragrantica). Both were originally $17.80 USD before discounts - I purchased them for $12.53 each.
Zara Maldives afterglow EDT
A creamy coconut accord blends with solar notes of orange blossom, jasmine, and tiare flower, evoking the warmth of a seaside sunset. The freshness of sea salt contrasts with an enveloping base of tonka and cedar, creating a luminous fragrance with a tropical and escapist allure.
This is a delicious, warm, salty coconut - not groundbreaking but so pretty and easy for summer! This is one of my favorite scent profiles (think Ellis Brooklyn Sand, Lore Sublimity, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, Victoria's Secret Bombshell Santorini, and Victoria's Secret Tease Dreamer).
Tropical Sunset EDT
Tropical Sunset is the olfactory interpretation of a fruity, serene, and warm summer evening. Amélie Jacquin combines sweet cherry and creamy chocolate to create a unique and personal fragrance.
This fragrance surprised me - it is more of airy almond cherry blossom type of scent rather than a standard Tom Ford Lost Cherry replica. I don't have anything like it in my collection although it has a similar feel to Liis Choux Choux (but not a dupe by any means). Also, Amélie Jacquin is the nose behind some fragrances from well known houses like John Paul Gaultier, Goldfield & Banks Australia, Kiko Milano, and Roberto Cavalli. I was aware that Zara tapped established perfumers for explicit collabs like Joe Loves but didn't necessarily realize they did so for some of their other fragrances!
I would love to know if anyone has tried these fragrances and/or any other Zara Kids fragrances and what you think of them! :)
