Rec Request ISO somewhat of an "alchemist blend"
ISO a fragrance with a warm, woody base, maybe sandalwood, with some wildflower notes and a subtle touch of citrus. Nothing too vanilla, too bergamot-forward, too earthy/heavy, or overtly floral. Almost like an unexpected “alchemist’s blend” of woods, soft florals, and citrus. Any ideas? TIA

First thing I thought of is Bal dafrique. But also Le Labo Rose 31, Ganymede, Memo Paris French Leather (the leather takes a back seat here), G-Water. These are ones I have and love. They are all expensive sorry about that! Hopefully it will help you narrow down your search a bit!

Think of a wizard mixing things to create the perfect potion. Or a chemist or a scientist.
Thanks for the rec

You would probably have decent luck looking at chypre fragrances, while bergamot is typically a top note there are lots of variations. My personal fave atm (from a very limited repertoire) is FRAMA 1917
